They aren't using the power at max all the time and it's still perfect ki control and containment. It's like when you run, in this case the base form would be like walking, while Blue would be like running. It makes perfect sense that Goku and Vegeta don't want to tire themselves out.

I honestly didn't believe the theories that the Grand Priest could be evil, but I am rethinking that now.
I can see the arc ending with it being revealed that he planned this together with his children to get rid of the gods and mortals. After all, aren't angels servants of sort to the gods? Maybe they don't like being in a submissive position anymore.
Zeno is extremely childlike, so it wouldn't be too difficult to manipulate him in their favor. Though if it is true I hope not all of the angels are in on it. Whis is particular I wouldn't want to see turn on U7.

I also thought the theories were BS but now I think they may have some validity.
Notice that Mojito didnt "shut down" as expected. Most likely since there isnt a universe he can no longer be tied to it. We see Mojito smile which in itself isnt a give away...but that smile was important enough to warrant a full screen close up of it happening. In other words it wasnt random animation it was written and planned to impact the viewer.
We have this weird two Zeno thing going on top of everything else.
If there isnt more planned its a huge missed opportunity for an arc grand in scale.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
I'm watching Buu arc via Kai and Vegeta went against Kid Buu in base for his R1 despite the fact he saw SS3 Goku get knocked the hell out. So it's not like it's exclusive to Super this using and staying in Base at the start of a big fight.emperior wrote:That's exactly what I'm saying, though some people don't understand it.Nero<>Akira wrote:in regards to the whole SSB burns stamina thing, it's relative. Also Freeza has mastered Golden now but he's still running around in Base for the moment also. Given the fact that senzu are banned it's smart of them to pace themselves I like your analogy, walking is base, SS is like jogging and SSGSS is like running, the way they both utilised Base, SS and SSGSS I thought was pretty darn clever. I see a few people complain that going SSGSS was not necessary maybe maybe not but it wasn't worth the risk sticking with the analogies if you're in a race and you are ahead and you are jogging up and see the finish line you're gonna run and secure the victory you ain't gonna take the risk of the pace of a jog are you?

The Zenos are lucifer. As sadistic as they come.
Goku really shouldn't have a brought a second one into this timeline, although I don't think it would have made much of a difference.

First of all, Toei are idiots for leaving fillers in the boo arc even though they cut it down like the whole dead enemies in hell watching goku and boo fight. it's just... ugh. and Vegeta never fought Boo in the manga at base. he fought him once and that was in SSJ2. it had nothing to do with tiring himself out. the anime just added filler and was just having him be.. stupid and "buying time" but not really since he was taking Goku's place.Baggie_Saiyan wrote:I'm watching Buu arc via Kai and Vegeta went against Kid Buu in base for his R1 despite the fact he saw SS3 Goku get knocked the hell out. Zamasu is the best DB villain besides Freeza (and this is only the case because the current Super arc elevated Freeza to be that good).

This might happen because Universe 7 only has 28 planets with life on it. Also I think the having two Zeno thing is actually a bad thing because now you have a being that can be taken out by himself. We see the difference between the two Zeno's and what happens if they both piss each other off? Bam they both can erase each other and if the Zenos are gone well guess who is free to do w.e ever he wants....TheOne wrote:It'd be more realistic to try and ask the dragon to revive everyone back and have everyone reside in the winning universe. Youre implying the Super Dragon Balls are stronger than Zeno. Id bet my life they cant kill him at the very least.

At the end of the day, DBZ was still heavily enjoyed by people regardless of those filler scenes. I bet 99 percent of the people complaining about these scenes and dismissing filler moments didn't even know those scenes were filler when they first watched them.

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

Vegeta did fight Boo in Base in the manga. I definitely see a conflict between the zenos. Maybe not wiping each other out, but definitely something that'll be arc worthy! Anytime child disagree it can get violent
How i predict the tournament will end:

Why is it a reach? Nothing stated has disproved they can fulfill any wish. I think you're deciding they are faulty way ahead of time. They could be but for now we don't know.GodKaio-Ken wrote:Yeah, at the very least they cant kill him. The entire tournament could have been avoided that way.
I honestly dont think that can undo anything he does though. Yes they are considered all powerful...but I just cant see it happening. Its too much of a reach.
Because they were inactive at the time and Whis gave them a solution they went along with. Also, remember they can't gather them that easily and are useless without the language of the Gods.GodKaio-Ken wrote:I should rephrase a little bit. Why not wish back Future Trunks timeline minus Zamasu of they are truly limitless?

Whis more or less said that was the only real solution. It wasnt like they loved it. If time was an issue they still could have waited on Earth longer. I think they know how to summon him now but if not....its been done before it can be done again.alakazam^ wrote:Why is it a reach? Nothing stated has disproved they can fulfill any wish. Its really silly to imagine the Super Dragon Balls can impact Zeno because its fiction level writing. Everything in this series seems limitless until we find out its extremely limited.

Sorry for the double post but I just had a thought I wanted to put out there.
Is the relationship between Beerus and Champa supposed to parallel Goku and Vegeta? Well the reverse.
Is this why Whis is so convinced they will "Never work together" because he has seen the same script play out before? It would make sense if you consider Goku and Vegeta as also being potential future Hakaioshin.
