I was sad that they didn't have a violent death. Frieza should be the one killing them.

Actually, I'm not convinced they're dead either. Didn't Whis say angels become inactive when their GoD dies, hence why no one stopped Zamasu in the other timeline? Mojito's still pretty active.
Alternatively Super's writing staff forgot that as well and this is yet another screw up.

I just wanted a damn Kaiju fight with Piccolo and Bergamo. Missed opportunity.Torturephile wrote:Looks like they didn't go out in glory, unfortunately. Even if they cornered Goku and Vegeta at certain moments, they weren't taken very seriously and could have been kicked out at any moment. Don't fret. At some point you will see them in a Xenoverse gameI will miss them.

Big fan of the characters of Dragon Ball, all of them, especially formerly prominent sub-characters. -__-

Maybe since the universe is erased entirely he is no longer tied to it.Akyon wrote:Actually, I'm not convinced they're dead either. Didn't Whis say angels become inactive when their GoD dies, hence why no one stopped Zamasu in the other timeline? Mojito's still pretty active.

I don't play Dragon Ball games at all. Knowing how these series work, they'll probably be wished back at the end, so I'm not too bummed about it.BWri wrote:Don't fret. At some point you will see them in a Xenoverse gameTorturephile wrote:I will miss them.

They went down with a final-Kamehameha combo attack from Goku & Vegeta in Blue form, which was awesome. I felt it was a pretty fitting conclusion for our doggy boys.Shinda Forever wrote:I was sad that they didn't have a violent death. Frieza should be the one killing them.

Really? I would prefer to see them knocked the fuck out by the trio of Earthlings, but, whatever.Snakeway Skywalker wrote:They went down with a final-Kamehameha combo attack from Goku & Vegeta in Blue form, which was awesome. An ending doesn't need violence to be good. People who need violence in order to appreciate things are weird.Shinda Forever wrote:Really? The ending was just fine. Personally, it was a little too much for where the trio was power wise. I guess they needed a way to show off blue to get kale and cauli interested.

It could be a screw up but "inactive" doesn't really have to mean that they shut off, or get put in stasis. It could just mean they are currently relieved from duty and can't interfere in any of their assigned universes ordeals.Akyon wrote:Actually, I'm not convinced they're dead either. Dude, this is Dragon Ball. We NEED violence! Maybe not the bloody, gritty comic-book level of violence found in DBZ, but still.TheOne wrote:An ending doesn't need violence to be good. There's a difference between some blood from punches and what not and wanting someone to get their head chopped off. We don't even know what they ment by "inactive". It could just mean there out of job or can't move. And all the angel did was smile.Boo Machine wrote:It could be a screw up but "inactive" doesn't really have to mean that they shut off, or get put in stasis. The Zamasu Arc doesnt really unfold properly if inactive just means unemployed. It asks us to believe Angels dont care about the structure of the Gods and Zeno being torn apart.

I liked the characters and designs but I can't get over the naming scheme. What are they even a pun on?

Nobody talked about heads flying all over the place, i said knock the fuck out. Dragon ball is a martial arts series, it needs knock outs and some blood.TheOne wrote:An ending doesn't need violence to be good. Re: Has anyone else grown really fond of the Trio de dangers, the 3 wolves of Universe 9?
There is far more to DB than "violence". Adventuring, interesting characters and their interactions should come well before the need of violence. Most of my favourite episodes are the non-violent/less violent one's. I love how Super isn't concerned with being overly violent, there is no need as long as the fights do their job that is all that matters.Snakeway Skywalker wrote:Dude, this is Dragon Ball.
