when is that game supposed to come out anyway?Nyoibo wrote:I really do hope it's similar to the Budokai series. Something similar to Ubisoft's new Naruto game on the 360 would be good too.
I believe both Metal Gear Solid 4 and Final Fantasy XIII could move some consoles (by the way, XIII is still PS3 exclusive as of this writing - at least the core game is). Halo 3 no doubt will unfortunately be the catalyst for 360's being sold - I'd much rather a good game like Bioshock take this role instead.
I remember hearing rumors that Dragon Ball Online was going to be on the 360 as well as PC, but who knows if that would be released outside of Asia?
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

FFXII is a PS2 game.Xyex wrote: We're getting horribly off topic here but I can't resist.
FFXII isn't PS3 exclusive anymore though is it? Oh boy if it's on 360, Sony will lose out BIG time...
Back on topic, I wonder if it'll be Budokai style gameplay. It probably will be, but I'm kind of hoping it isn't..If it is, I don't really see that big of a need for battle damage.

Heh, it was a typo x.x, you know I meant FFXIII!
I guess Square-Enix can't see enough profit being made from keeping FFXIII exclusive to the lowest selling console this generation, and I don't blame them one bit.
Guess they're looking out for themselves.
As for the battle damage comment, that and the whole destruction factor are what you come to expect of DBZ, you see a Kamehameha or Ki blast miss, you expect an explosion, not just a fadeout and no destruction to the level unless it's a cinematic finisher.(and even then only a few completely destroy the levels)

True, but even then the big top selling next gen console is the Wii not the PS3.Humpski wrote:360's still not so hot in Japan though. People say dimps like it means only the dragonballz series.
Dimps made the sidescrolling dragonball adventure for gameboy and
it is a great game by its own. I think dimps is really good, at least as
good as spike.
I have lots os ideas for a dragonball game but first let them tell us what
kind of game it will be. Just them we SMASH them to do as we wish to play.

God, I hope it's an action/adventure game, not another damn fighting game. Seriously, if it's just Dimps doing another fighting game, it'll be just like B3 or BT3 with improved graphics.
I want to see my DB-based action game in the style of Zelda or God of War...

The video game section of Dragon Ball Collector in the latest Shonen Jump says that there is a "yet unnamed" game coming out for Xbox 360 AND Playstation 3.

$499 for the 60GB model, which is discontinued and being phased out for the 80GB model that will sell for $599. It'll be the only model available since the 20GB one was discontinued quite some time ago.EvilGamerX wrote:You mean 500. To me it was reasonable for a blu-ray player if I was going to want some PS3 games. I see no problem with it's blu-ray either after I calibrated the TV.
Blu-Ray really doesn't mean much for me since I have no intention on getting any Blu-Ray movies. :s So that leaves me with a $499 console that is still rather expensive for me with very few games that I would want.
But yeah, as you said. We don't know if it'll even be good. So that's further reason enough for me not to plop down that much money for a console with one game I want and a game that has the potential to either be good or awful.

The 80GB PS3 will drop in price and will be sold without Motorstorm, eventually.
You failed to mention the 360 has a pretty high failure rate. The only reason I didn't get it before the PS3 is because of that. I've even seen a friend's console break. One last thing..where is the proof that this game will be on both the 360 and PS3? Leaving out the fact that the 360 breaks down isn't going to help anyone either.

Sasuke_Chidori, just want to mention that I've had my 360 for almost a year now and it hasn't once given me any problems (it was even manufactured in July 2006). Not all 360s are gonna break. One could say that the PS3 has a high rate of overheating and locking up during gameplay.
But none of that really matters. This is about the game itself. Seems like it's up in the air if this is just a PS3 exclusive if Shonen Jump's saying there's gonna be an unnamed game on both consoles. It's also up in the air if the game's gonna be any good.
