Why are Peru and Gowasu so old?

One thing I never understood though was how Goku Black was able to defeat Jiren in Universe 11. I understand he killed the Kai and therefore eliminated Belmod. So maybe he never came across Jiren and the Pride Troopers after doing that. But it kinda doesn't make sense

I think Kais do age over time in a very slow rate. Elder Kaioshin mention that he had like 10,000 years left or something similar to that when he give his life away to Goku.

I can totally see this being the case. He probably killed the Gods and then went to the next Universe before someone could react.

As far as Invincible Zamasu vs Jiren, I guess Jiren would lose to someone who doesn't feel pain and doesn't take damage.

I remember that Elder Kaioshin said that he only has a few thousand years left himself in the Buu saga. I would imagine Kais do age over time very very slowly while the GoD probably stay the same age until the Kaioshin is dead.
