Damnit, why do I always ruin my well thought arguments with a small, silly mistake.

The episode just before the first Budokai was on today. I know it's anime, but I can't help but notice that the first thing Bulma does after Yamcha saves her from being run over is to shout at him. And tell him to get his hair cut. Typical.

(And, as an aside, I used the opportunity to compare bits of the episode to the FUNi version. And I found out:

1/ Oolong's BW voice is much, much more annoying. I guess I've gotten used to the FUNi one.
2/ FUNi Goku is cute. BW Goku is mildly annoying.
3/ The FUNi dub is actually more accurate than the BW one in several places. While it doesn't often follow the Japanese exactly, all the main points are placed across, and generally it's just that stuff is presented in a different order. The BW adds things, such as Kuririn understanding the whole "your bodies have learnt how to fight by themselves due to the training", whereas Japanese Kuririn and FUNi Kuririn didn't get it.

I might actually do a proper analysis tomorrow, if I remember to tape the TV one.)

Ah, it's easy to mistake Trunks for a woman. I mean, he did dress up like a girl....once....in GT ^_^;;

Or, maybe it could be the plot twist for a new DB series....Trunks was actually a girl all along! Vegeta wanted a male heir to the (non-existent o_O) throne of the Planet Vegeta, so Bulma lied and said she had a son and raised Trunks to be a boy. Finally, adult Trunks won't be able to hide it anymore (her boobies hurt after being strapped down for so many years >_<) and she reveals the shocking secret!

The new series shall be called "Trunks of Versailles". :lol:
Jerseymilk: "Can I tell you something?"
B-kun: "What?"
Jerseymilk: "I see Fangirls."
