Yup. ArcSYS really does have a hard-on for female boss characters.KayDash wrote:Sooo... they kind of confirmed that #21 is a villain, and can fight, right?
If they don't have that option that would suck to me, but I think I still would buy the game though.Luso Saiyan wrote:It can be (well, it is) the feature and provide the option of 1v1 for arcade/multiplayer. That's the official cover of the game? Man, I expected better than the good old SSJ Goku on the frontTheDBZmaster100 wrote:November Cover Revealed – Dragon Ball FighterZ:

Source: http://shoryuken.com/2017/10/03/game-in ... -coverage/Strap in folks, as we’ve got tons of Dragon Ball FighterZ info coming down the pipe over the next month. Announced today as the cover game for this month’s issue of Game Informer, the magazine is diving deep into DBFZ — complete with developer interviews, new gameplay footage and hopefully, more information on new characters joining the roster.
In this first teaser video for this month of Dragon Ball FighterZ, we’ve got a glimpse of two new stages. One of them is a ruined version of West City, while the other looks to be Amenbo Island. Dragon Ball Z fans will recognize the ruined West City from the History of Trunks movie, while Amenbo Island was where the Z-Fighters first encountered Dr. Gero and Android 19 during the Android Saga.
With those two stages revealed, it brings the overall stage count to 10:
- Planet Namek
- World Tournament Arena
- Cell Games Arena
- Rocky Field (Noon/Dusk)
- West City
- Ruined West City
- Amenbo Island
- Sacred World of the Kais
- Outer Space
I’m personally holding out for a Kame House stage, along with either Kami’s Lookout or the Hyperbolic Time Chamber being DBFZ’s training stage. The Game Informer teaser also promises footage of Yamcha, Tien and both SSB Goku and Vegeta, so keep your eyes peeled for more footage coming later this month.

My top 3 request list was: Tenshinhan, Nappa and SSJ3 Gotenks. One has been granted. I'm fearful characters from the Saiyan and Namek arc won't make it in, due to the timeline of the story mode.Olympian wrote:If #21 ends up being playlable who would you all want to show up to diverse the cast? Arale and Cabba for me.
My dream list is way too big at this point I think: Roshi, Hit, Arale, Maggeta, Zamasu, Cabba and...Beerus. Oy.
Here's a gif showing the balls being gathered:Figured out how you collect the Dragon Balls from the footage, it's based on how many hits you did in your combo, it changes every 10 hits and the announcer will say something different.
10 hit combo - Good - 1 star ball
20 hit combo - Fantastic - 2 star ball
30 hit combo - Wonderful - 3 star ball
40 hit combo - Excellent - 4 star ball
I also saw "Ultimate" at 70 hits and it granted the 7 star Ball.
Still no idea what it does when you get all 7 or who gets the buff (the person who gets the last one?) but this is how you collect them.
[/spoiler]The game might be great, but 3v3 is not my cup of tea. I like 1v1, 2D fighting. Heck, I only bought Burst Limit when I learned that stuff like the drama pieces (which are a simple form of assists) were optional.Noah wrote:If they don't have that option that would suck to me, but I think I still would buy the game though.Luso Saiyan wrote:It can be (well, it is) the feature and provide the option of 1v1 for arcade/multiplayer. Yeah, I hate team fighters, especially tag; would have preferred KoF-style if it had to be team. Hoping my love for DB will be enough to get past my distaste for it.Luso Saiyan wrote:The game might be great, but 3v3 is not my cup of tea. I like 1v1, 2D fighting.
