Wow i'm liking what i'm seeing so far with god brutally beating them self up and finally an enemy that is actually pretty strong from what i'm seeing which is a breath of fresh air compared to lets say hit and black,good job toppo

His reveal about Jiren being even stronger than him is much more dramatic, and overall executed better than what the anime did.

The revelation was 10 times better in the anime, in the middle of a genkidama with the same god saying, here only said and already

I guess that would be interesting in ONLY Goku and Jiren were fighting...

But there are 78 other contestants and 8 universes. The fact that there could potentially be characters strong enough to really make the rest of the cast struggle makes the hype for he tournaments over all more interesting. Basically the precedent is already being set that more than just Jiren and Goku will be strong characters worth watching.

Well, he was fighting other GoDs so it's plausible to think he would end worn out, so I guess that "Beerus is the strongest Hakaishin" is BS huh?

I feel that Toyotaro is very rushed, puts to fight to the gods and the fight lasts 5 min, I do not know if it wants to reach the anime, well, it should take all the time of the world that in 29 chapters Already going to enter the 3rd saga ..

I can understand it feels rushed when you take the amount of chapters and the arcs into account,but this is not your typical manga chapters we're talking about.

Toriyama's manga was a weekly one,thus feeling 'larger' when you count the number of chapters.But being weekly means having from 15 to 20 pages per chapter.

Now Toyo is gradually increasing his page count.He started the BoG retelling by giving us 14 pages or so,but when he moved on to the new stuff,he started making chapters worth of 2(and even 3 in recent months)weekly ones.Right now we are getting 45 pages per chapter,that means 3 chapters of Toriyama's original run.

Well it was a battle royale with 12 GoDs, he was gonna take some shots but he was in the last 2 standing which speaks well to his overall fighting ability. Everyone but him and quitela were on the floor

The best part about this setup is it basically takes they strongest guy they have and takes him down which paves the way for other very strong fighters from other universes rather than a bunch of fodder getting eliminated. I would think it would be extremely interested in they actually ended up with some of the fewest eliminations rather than the most.

This also makes people like Krillin start to sh*t their pants and just hope they don't get accidentally killed.
It also makes Goku's desperation to recruit Frieza much easier to swallow and why he would be the best choice.
They would need someone at Golden Frieza's level in a very short amount of time.
Plus we know that teamwork is really going to actually be critical instead of everyone just flying off at the start of the match.

I think Toyo is messing with us. Last man standing is Beerus and U4 God. Soo last man standing in this arc wil be U7 mortal vs U4 mortal (I think Goku vs Bug thing)

I hope the 4 pages interview with Toyotaro and Toriyama about Future Trunks arc has some interesting information. I would like to know why Toriyama decided to give such a bittersweet ending to FT Trunks.

Like Goku and Vegeta absorbing the power of the god even in base form, so Vegeta can defeat Gotenks SS3 without any effort. I'm glad Toyotaro got rid of that in his manga.

You do realize he's fighting 11 other gods of destruction, correct? I don't see how this is a shocking development. He's actually fighting characters on his level, and it just shows how insignificant Goku and the other strong mortal characters are in general when compared compared to Beerus and his fellow godly destroyers
