Dragon Ball Super is an animated sequel only and it's manga just serves to promote the main product. Sure Toriyama has involvement in the series, but still debatable since we have two different interpretations of the story, we know Toyotaro has free will for his own ideas and the same could be said about Toei. We also know a time ago Toriyama was dissatisfied with the series, wanting to leave and Toei had to provide him ideas for a new arc. The thing is that the original work that remains untouchable until nowadays as it's not like Toriyama decided to do DB Vol. 43 e.g
