There is no logic in the DBS series of power scale. I hope this series is considered an alternative continuing story in the future.

The DB manga never had so many mistakes, nor those were this constant."

That's the answer my friend. They needed a lame excuse to take him out and that's it.HeroR wrote:Not answering the question.Zamasu55 wrote:Because Toei and Toriyama decided that Buu is out.HeroR wrote:I have been wondering, why didn't they suggest throwing Buu in the Time Chamber? I see the manga kept the stupid bullshit of "Don't tell anyone we're all gonna die if they don't come and fight! They won't come to fight if you do!". I mean, really? REALLY?
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

But you can consider as that. Dragon Ball has two continuities: anime and manga, the latter being the original work, which should be regarded as the only canon. Super has no connection with anything there.STH wrote:There is no logic in the DBS series of power scale. I hope this series is considered an alternative continuing story in the future.

I hope Toyotaro delves into Jirens backstory and connection to Belmod before the tournament starts.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
These new stories aren't just what brought the franchise back but they're also from the original author so the chances of them just being forgotten or set aside for a "new" Z sequel are slim to none. Super and whatever future Toriyama stories are as important to everyone involved with the franchise as the original manga is.STH wrote:I hope this series is considered an alternative continuing story in the future.
Modern DB has produced a lot of fan favorite material like Beerus and Black (he was taken from us too soon.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

Love how the manga handled goku and 17. Good to see the characters acting like themselves..The manga is proving again that it is the definitive sequel.

At least,it was beerus who suggested that not gohan or any other U7 member.ekrolo2 wrote:I see the manga kept the stupid bullshit of "Don't tell anyone we're all gonna die if they don't come and fight! They won't come to fight if you do!". I mean, really? REALLY?

It's a stupid thing for anyone to suggest. Even Beerus knows that they aren't intimidated by world ending scenarios.Hawk9211 wrote:At least,it was beerus who suggested that not gohan or any other U7 member.ekrolo2 wrote:I see the manga kept the stupid bullshit of "Don't tell anyone we're all gonna die if they don't come and fight! I liked the fact that Toriyama, for once, didn't use his "weak-looking guy turns out to be strong" trope and actually turned it on its head, but Monaka was literally the most useless character I think I've ever seen. Boo being out already served as a handicap and Vegeta and Goku are the last people who need any sort of motivation to keep training. Plus, Beerus and Whis already fill the "strong guy you should aspire to" position that Monaka was supposed to fill, so what the fuck?ekrolo2 wrote:I hate you both so much for reminding me of that crap.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super (Manga)" Official Discussion Thread
His inclusion is particularly stupid since nobody brings up the supposed strongest guy in the universe besides Beerus and Whis when they need to recruit people. Or are we meant to infer that everyone realized Monaka was a load of BS and they told Goku all off screen?Doctor. wrote:I liked the fact that Toriyama, for once, didn't use his "weak-looking guy turns out to be strong" trope and actually turned it on its head, but Monaka was literally the most useless character I think I've ever seen. Maybe the manga had something like that but I know the anime doesn't address it at all.Doctor. wrote:Didn't Goku ask and Beerus said he was sick or busy or some bullshit?ekrolo2 wrote:His inclusion is particularly stupid since nobody brings up the supposed strongest guy in the universe besides Beerus and Whis when they need to recruit people.
