Actually, Irwin/Jakks has released figures of nearly all of those characters you mentioned. They even have figures of Chi-Chi and Kaio-sama. :P
Maybe I wrote it confusingly, but I meant the Super Battle collection didn't have any of those, and it's supposed to be the end all be all of DBZ figures.
The Super Battle Collection was just Piccolo, the main arc villains, and 3-6 versions of each saiyan.

Damn, those Hybrid figures look really cool. (starts hoping for something like that from the new American line)

It could very well be possible, considering we've had the SBC and Ultimate Figures series brought over before. It'd be nice and could open up the possiblity of other characters getting the Hybrid treatment. (...why isn't there a Freeza figure? :? )

...I hope Bandai got the One Piece license as well...god, those Mattel figures were pure ass...

The hybrid figures do look nice. My only problem with them is the whole buying multiple figures thing. But other than that, they're simply amazing.

And they were full of lead as well.
Be grateful the filler in Dragon Ball doesn't suck like the 3rd arc of Rurouni Kenshin.

Jakks has done nothing but repackage figures or creatively invented two packs of figures for the past 4 years. I hope Bandai does something new..

Do you guys remember the really detailed ones from a few years ago, like the Broly that stood a foot or so tall? I never bought one, but I always felt that at least in terms of sculpting, those were the most accurate looking figures.

If you're referring to the IF Labs figures, I think it's because they were made for collectors. There's a difference between action figures made for collectors and those made for kids.

Personally, I "collect" the ones made for kids. If they're of my favorite characters and not truly horrible...
