It really is a minor complaint though, when compared with giving the characters guns.

XD Good point. And weren't there also some sort of bazooka or rocket launcher thingies included with some?

Actually, Jersey, you can't laugh at that one, because it was from there that they realized that using the figure's hands as the launchers and ki blasts as ammo that they could make toys where the action figures launch ki blasts themselves!!!!! :P

Aaaahhhh, I could have thought of that without putting in weapons first. XP

The #1 star-ball? Those come with the chibi Trunks with freaky sideways arms (rerelease so he can use a flamethrower that comes with. ) and the Goten rerelease with same freaky arms (so he can use a machine gun that comes with ).

I know because those are the ONLY DBZ toys I can get in my area.
Gimme gimme.

Anyway, I can't find all the DBs either. Don't remember which ones I've got, but they're all repeats.

For the record, you get all 7 Black Star Dragon Balls with Baby Vegeta :p

Jakks also adds stupid weaponry. The new Cyborg Freeza has a sword (not Trunks', it looks like a pirate's). I think the Battle-Damaged Vegeta had something similar, though I'm not sure.

I found it silly when they put out the figs with weapons. At least like Goku and Vegetto (that I've seen) come with the Power Pole. But yeah, I bought a Vegeta figs some time back and he came with a machine gun of sorts and King Kai's kanji as a sticker to go on his back. I was like "WTF" he'd never train Vegeta nor would Vegeta take training from him. Ah, but it would make a very entertaining little bit to watch/read.

Yeah, I saw the Baby Vegeta fig. Comes with all 7 Black DBs in the big goblet or whatever that Dende presents them to him when he makes his wish for his home planet to be brought back. It'd been better if they were separate so you could do more with them. Anyone wanna send me the last DBs that I need? I gotta check which ones....and what was with Irwin making red DBs? I mean c'mon, you think the fans are stupid and not notice the odd coloring?

Red DBs? I don't think I ever saw those...

Oh, and Series 10 Krillin had a nose... WTF?

That's odd, the Edit button won't work... I keep getting a 404 error...

What in the name of Hamato Splinter are you talking about? That IS Trunks' sword! The only difference is the hand protector and butt of it is gold instead of silver. The shape of it is EXACTLY the same!

 I saw it a while ago, and I remember it being curved. I think I'm either losing my mind or becoming senile...

I done lost my mind a long time ago....but I haven't seen Cyborg Frieza.

The red DBs were included with the very early Irwin figures, that still came with weapons. I've seen them, it was a long time ago.

Woot! I'm not crazy! I told them I wasn't crazy!

On topic: Have ya'll seen the Tournament Arena and the Buu playset? Those things are horrid as well. I liked the Gold Goku with Rejuvenation chamber and the Sky bikes were neat too. But the Arena is just way too cheesy and too small I think. And the Buu playset? Yeah, as a collector I'm all about having slime sit and fester with figures...I mean these aren't Ninja Turtles or anything else that came with slime back in the 80s.

If Jakks even THINKS they can grab the attention of the collector they are insane.

Correction: Some TMNT figures do STILL come with "slime" (ooze to be exact)

I saw the Buu playset too... That's the thing with the slide, right?

Jakks is terrible. Trouble is, we're stuck with every idiot company this side of the Pacific who gets the license to make toys. There's a foldout that came with Shonen Jump (Neko Majin Z 3 issue) that showed almost all of the most recent DB products in Japan. I'll try to scan it soon, but looking at it makes me want to kill something. That or cry.

Are they that bad that you would take someone's life or cry like a sissy? Damn, the only new figs I've seen from Japan were the Ultimate Battle whatevers and they looked damn nice. I've only seen Goku and Vegeta on eBay. The color and detail is great and they have like 21 points of articulation...I think I mentioned this earlier somewhere. But I haven't seen any of the other new figs yet.

Yeah, the playset has the slide with Super Buu, Goku, Vegeta, and Vegetto with the "slime". I saw that at a Toys 'R' Us and about went berserk. Kids today don't play with playsets like I did back in the day with my Castle Greyskull and He-Man figs or my Ghostbusters Firehouse and figs. Kids just want the action figures and vehicles which is why Transformers is so huge with kids even when they charge like $12 for 1 Transformer. And the 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime is $60, but he looks cool...I want him.

TMNT figs still come with "ooze"?

Yep. The Mutations figures do. (DBZ and TMNT are the only lines I collect on a regular basis anymore)

But what I believe, is that Alias is saying the Japanese figures kick ass. I, too, have that issue, and sometimes just pull out the manga to look at the figures. Piccolo... Daimaou... (drools)
