Because I can live with Goku not winning (even though I'd still be annoyed). I just didn't want to see ULTRA INSTINCT Goku just straight up lose to Jiren. But this image implies that Goku merely ran out of time with UI before he could finish the job, and then him and Freeza put on one final desperate assault to try and finish him off. And at that point, although it isn't exactly what I wanted, I'll at least be somewhat content. You can't always get exactly what you want, I just thought that the way the spoilers phrased the information sounded insulting and horrible in every way.
Well, me and others did say we should wait to see how Goku loses before we burn down Toei's headquarters. I never got the impressing that Jiren would just body UI Goku and I strongly suspected that UI may just run out. I know the NEP can be misleading and can't be really trusted, but bulky, glowery Jiren wasn't doing that well against UI Goku.

Also, perhaps I'll come off like a dummy here, but is there any chance that they intentionally lied in the spoilers to throw us all off? The phrase "Goku has fallen" always seemed extremely blunt, almost too blunt, in that sense where in a show, the narrator or a character says something that's supposedly true, but it actually just exists as a decoy to surprise the audience later.
Maybe he actually does win...? Yes? No...? Ok, sorry. The Goku fanboy in me has a sliver of hope, and I'm a damn fool for it.
To split hairs, the spoilers only said Goku falls off the arena, not that he was eliminated. Several posters did point that out, but I wasn't willing to buy it since similar arguments were made for Gohan and Vegeta. That and the final song of the CD for Super didn't match the spoiler either, but I wasn't willing to believe a track title that may not even play in the show since that CD has a lot of unused songs.
