Kenji Yamamoto score
I'm tyring to collect Dragon Ball Z Kai with the Kenji Yamamoto score. What seasons did they use it till until they replaced it with Shunsuke Kikuchi score and how can you tell if a Dragon Ball Z Kai season set has the yamamoto score?
Re: Kenji Yamamoto score
The Japanese tv airing used it until episode 95
The original US DVD release used it until 52
The Nicktoon airing used it until around the time 17 and 18 show up
If you’re buying the show I dont think you’re gonna get any version that uses it past episode 52

Thanks Masenko! Is there a way to tell if the Kai DVD/Blu-ray has the yamamoto score?
Re: Kenji Yamamoto score
It is available in the "Part 1-4" releases. Be careful though. For one, Parts 2-4 are very expensive for a new copy and secondly, I believe there was a later printing of those parts that used the Kikuichi score instead.
Re: Kenji Yamamoto score
I think the first BD release of the Japanese version had the yamamoto score for more episodes? But Ican't clearly remember.MasenkoHA wrote:The Japanese tv airing used it until episode 95

all informations are here (and you are in the wrong section as there is one related to dragon ball kai)
http://www.kanzenshuu.com/features/kenj ... ospective/
into the fallout section you have the image that show what you are searching for

you also have a fan project that have made (only in english) a version with yamamoto score for 96 97 98 but sadly nothing in japanese
for foreign release all others use the kikuchi score

I remember the original airing of the Nicktoons version had the Yamamoto score throughout it's run.MasenkoHA wrote:The Japanese tv airing used it until episode 95

Haven't we already gotten these in GT? Goku dies, the DBs go away, and the Namekian DBs most likely won't be used again because of the Evil Dragons.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.
Re: Kenji Yamamoto score
It did not. Starting on episode 64 the Nicktoons broadcast used the Kikuchi replacement scoreDBZAOTA482 wrote: I remember the original airing of the Nicktoons version had the Yamamoto score throughout it's run.
