He's front and center with Goku so he's going to shine. As a Vegeta fan, I never thought I'd see the day where Vegeta would be able to get back and Freeza and Broly but here we are. As for fan service, can we have Gogeta as well ? let's go all out.

The producers said he turned down a lot of ideas and he got the final say on things, even if he didn't want a new movie made so I think he saw something in Broly worth revisiting. Overall he hasn't disappointed so I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Relax people. This reminds me of the weeks prior to the debut of the Future Trunks arc. Everyone thought that Goku Black was just going to be a crappy character who belonged in a garbage fan-fiction. Well, Guess what? The producers actually managed to develop Goku Black into a unique and original villain and he is now one of the most beloved Dragon Ball antagonists by far.

Broly did speak in movie 1. He was mocking the characters all the time and bathing in the light of his own glory.

We already had 3 Broly movies plus Kale was a female version of Broly when she transformed...I thought we seen enough of him

Well, think of it from that perspective: Maybe we get some spin. Like with Freeza. But hopefully not AFTER the movie in the way they did it with Fukkatsu no F. Because his character moments if you ask me came after the movie/arc and in the Tournament Arc then.

I agree as long as we get a more developed backstory other than the uninteresting one we got from the first Broly movie I'll be satisfied.

My box office prediction for this movie was 75 million but with someone as popular as Broly being back I have to say I think it'll do upwards of 80-85 million so yes, it has worked.
