Besides the trailer a significant patch is coming in the second week of August. All characters except SSJ Goku, SSJ Vegeta, Goku Black and Adult Gohan will be touched in some way.

It would be funny if it was a joke. But they're not being ironic considering how bad Namco Bandai US has been at marketing this game in the past.

That's what I find humorous about. You can't take that tweet or kind of marketing seriously at all. It's such desperate and unnecessary nostalgia pandering, that I just find it so stupidly funny for even going to that length.

Guess I'm wrong. All the previous teaser trailers correctly identified what their in-game names are when they have parenthetical classifications.

Edit: It looks to me like is a common way of referring to base Goku in Japanese. Is that so? If so, I'll again say they translated it an intentionally obtuse way just to be funny.

Saw the two trailers...Would be great if we could get Dragonball/Saiyan Saga Tenshinhan. Not saying that to be funny, like Goku and Vegeta he has a repertoire of moves that are too much for one character build, and like Vegeta has an early darker side that can be explored. Attacks, of course his level one Kikoho and Dodonpa will be available, but that's it. Instead of Chaozu he has the Taiyoken, kind of like Android 21 he'll be able to mimic certain attacks, and his two new supers, the level 1 will be the form of Kikoho he used against Nappa, it will come out like Freeza's "You will die by my hand!" and his level 3 will be the Mafuba, and like the Buus if the opponent is out of HP they are captured.

Also Dramatic Finishers. We're definitely going to need Tenshinhan breaking Yamcha's leg, a version of the ending of Goku and Tenshinhan's first fight, and two versions of Tenshinhan vs Nappa, just like Yamcha has.

Man, Goku's intro is sick. Probably one of my favorites in the game next to Vegito and Hit. Vegeta looks dull as hell though, dont wanna even touch him.

Having access to it as an install and tying it to health would've made way for unique strategies. I don't think having more button presses the higher the level is all that interesting.

So far this game only has one install user and it's pretty wack.
