Roshi isn't flying, you can see Whis guiding the Z Senshi. His aura encompasses everyone. Usually when characters are flying like that they will each individually have an aura of their own.
Maybe that's the case, I hope so since that would be a pretty confusing mistake on Toyo's part.

From Herms on Twitter:

The Galactic Patrol Prisoner Arc blurb from Toyotaro:
Like I predicted/hoped, Toyotaro seems to be taking the lead, but heavily bouncing ideas off of Toriyama. Praise from Tori doesn't always mean much, so while I'm happy Toyotaro is getting approval, we'll have to see where this goes. I'm optimistic.

As for the Broly manga by Ooishi, it seems like it's being presented as informative/comedic panels in the SD style:

Edit: Too slow...

Totally disappointed, that cheelai looks horrible.
I wish we will have some toyotaro drawings of that beauty, it’s the most interesting design of broly movie for me

Brolli Naho Ooishi manga is only gags? Mildly disappointed it won't be a proper adaption, but the Gokû and Bulma both heavily disliking the cold weather gag I liked. I don't like extreme cold weather either. I'd rather it stay autumn all winter.

Not too surprised about the Toyotaro manga arc and wondering if it'll be manga only. I'm kinda bored by his recent chapters and goat man doesn't intrigue me but I'm willing to give the story a try because there's Gokû and Vegeta character interaction possibilities here.
On hiatus.

Glad to see that Toriyama is still involved. As much as I prefer Toyotaro over any of Toei's writers, I'm not sure I trust him to handle an arc entirely on his own. He seems to be co-writing the basic story draft though, which is awesome.

I would much rather prefer Toyotarou do his own thing with less supervision from the bird man except on tips for panelling. I don't think teaming up with Toriyama would make the story better, especially since his last DB product was an M8/M12 heavily derived work, and his previous plots before that were mediocre at best. It would be great if Toyotarou got his own assistant who could help draw landscapes for him. God knows his ToP arena proportions were way too inconsistent.

It's a bonus booklet that comes with Saikyo Jump. They included a similar item in the past when they released a booklet containing only the DBS manga BoG chapters. Saikyo Jump often includes paper-based bonuses like booklets, posters, characters printed on punch-out cardboard, stickers, etc.

Ahh okay I see. Well hopefully it can include more interesting tidbits or additional pages to make it worth getting.

I personally never thought that just because something is a Toyo original story, its just filler but since Toriyama is involved, at least now people will take the arc more seriously.

Still seems to be a Toyo original though. Just with Toriyama being an editor for Toyo. Judging his ideas or praising him. Stuff like that.
I called it that Gogeta, Bardock, and something Broly related would be in the movie before it was even announced that it was a Broly movie. 8)

I'm honestly happy with this. Toyo as a fan and writer will have ideas that Toriyama may not have considered, and the collaborative back and forth has some potential to truly feel like dragonball while still being fresh

With Toriyama involved, it's basically confirmed that this new arc will be a main one, not a filler side story. It would be uncharacteristic for a manga to have filler arcs, especially when the Super manga always trims the fat the anime sometimes has.

Also, I am very happy that this is a Toyo original story, this arc will be a break or make situation for him since he is the driving force this time. Interesting stuff.

Looks like Toriyama will do as much as he was doing so far. He's gonna give some plot details and check Toyo's chapters at the end and correct them. I was looking around on twitter and youtube and people are acting like Toriyama was never involved with the manga.

The more toriyama the better , always . It’s his series .
Also , at least in the west fandom toyotaros work is inspected heavily looking for mistakes, reused or similar drawings etc , like nobody else , so having toriyama name together is gonna backup him a little for those ferocity attacks , let’s be honest , if this new arc will be airing first by Toei , it won’t be that open to negative criticism .
Toyotaro is under a magnifying glass , talking about west fandom, you never know what will happen if this new arc.will be totally written by him ,will the trending topic of ridiculing toyotaro will have no stop ? or you tubers will ended up praising him just for the sake of don’t lose viewers little by little ?

Anime and manga already were in a sense different continuities, but it seems they are heading in a more different direction all the way.
If Broly isn't adapted in the manga, and this new manga arc isn't adapted in the anime, these are signs on the wall this "severing process" is happening.
Toriyama is basically giving Toyotara more space to do his own thing, saying he is still 'involved' to give the content a 'canon' feeling.
Maybe in order to lay his eye more on future series or movies, which are the still the big promoters of the franchise (no bad intent for the manga).

It's a smart concept to give the manga more attention with exclusive stories. I think we are still going to see crossovers between anime and manga in the future, but the things that are 'genuine' could translate in terms of general concepts, ideas, characters rather than complete story acs. The goat for instance could return as a villain later on in the anime, but in a different kind of story than the Galactic Patrol Prisoner Arc. Or we could get a story in the anime that very vaguely ressembles a GPP-arc because of some similarities, but with another villain.
