Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
New page is up, I like how a 17 who never matured is simultaneously threatening and a chump....
Would like to know how long the two non u9 videls are in relation to other characters. It all depends on how long they kept training after Buu.
Veggettos Videl was still training up until bra and pan were at LEAST 5 so that's a lot of time to get stronger when trained by the main cast.

Ah, the classic punch.
I don't think so. One of the Cell Juniors was splitted in half with a kick and he didn't regenerated himself after that.Regarder wrote:That's not a thing in the original is it?SSJgogeto wrote:Yes, at least in DBM.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Funnily enough the super manga shows they do regenerate after all.SSJgogeto wrote:Ah, the classic punch.

The anime showed them exploding due to censorship more than anything else.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Cell Jrs have all the powers of the original Cell, including regeneration. Gohan just conpletely decimated them and didn't give them the chance to regenerate. There's also that plothole about Cell having a weakpoint in his head, which he somehow moved before being blown in half, yet was able to regenerate just fine without when he self-destructed. I don't know what to make of that in relation to Cell Jrs other than...plot convenience.

Is Videl gulping down the bean or gulping in shock aglt the Piccolo violence?coola wrote:

The panel composition/flow of Piccolos attacks don't really make sense here.
But with both these things said.... Rule of cool prevails and it's still awesome to see Piccolo own someone!

Well really, from a martial arts perspective, it's just wasted movement. Unfortunately, that's something that ALL of the DBZ fights have, since they weren't done by an actual, practicing martial artist (like me).TobyS wrote:The panel composition/flow of Piccolos attacks don't really make sense here.

Yup, remove the second panel in that page and it flows better IMO.TobyS wrote:Is Videl gulping down the bean or gulping in shock aglt the Piccolo violence?coola wrote:

Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

Background Piccolo has recovered from battling Freeza and Coola.

I'm curious now, if Majin Ginyu swapped bodies, will he still be under Babbidi control?

I made a thread the other day about body swap/majin mechanics.coola wrote:I'm curious now, if Majin Ginyu swapped bodies, will he still be under Babbidi control?
Obviously seeing what DBM says is interesting but a shame we wont get a canon answer.
Love Piccolo Gi'd Videl! Cool to see her batter more people in the stands now.
I wonder if Videl is stronger than anyone in the stands, now the Coola squad and 17 are dead. (Barring maybe other anime cameos which may not be sorta canon)
