Fair enough. For some reason, it always sounds crappier on my Funi discs than my singles though.

Maybe I'm just going deaf.

Has anyone else noticed how the sound quality for the Japanese audio has gotten worse since Season 1? In Season 1, it was practically stereo.

Do you mean your R2 singles? Yeah,Toei went back to the original source for that.

Well, I guess that explains it. It's fairly obvious that I just watch things without doing research on what it's comprised of. Ah well. At least I'm not going deaf after all.

I'm trying to figure out how you have come to this conclusion.

Being Stereo or Mono has nothing to do with the actual 'quality' and clarity of the audio.

How was it 'practically stereo'? Mono is mono.

I've seen it. they were a terrorist army trying to conquer the planet. No innocents were killed. They had every chance to surrender.

No, no they didn't. (and technically they were fighting to make Commander Red taller)

Goku didn't try to reason with them, he didn't show them mercy, he just made them all dead.

It may be incongruous with his character later on in the series, but the simple fact is, back in DB, Goku was a remorseless killer.

They coulda threw their guns down instead of shooting at him. Don't try to paint those guys as innocents who happened to be at the wrong place. They were all cold blooded murderers who thought they were going to conquer the world. Goku only went their to claim their Dragonball. So e could revive a friend (who they killed). They are the ones who hired Tao. That makes them guilty.

Goku was fine until he started to show "mercy" on his foes. I was fine with him killing them. He killed them,threat eliminated.

Similair to stereo? :S I'm sorry but you don't know what you are saying. Stereo is when audio from the left speaker and the right speaker are different. It can't be similair to stereo cause it's either stereo or mono, there is NO in between. And there never was. There is only dolby surround and DTS (which has to do with more than two speakers).

Yeah, Goku killed a lot of people back in his day. What's wrong with that? They were fighting for what they thought was world domination and hurting innocent villages of people. Goku wasn't a crazed murderer...just less meciful.
