This game is looking brilliant the more I see of it. It seems like they're actually putting more of an effort both visually and gameplay wise. I'm not a bit of a fan the way the Super Saiyan transformations are looking though.

Why do they have pupils?Sebastian (SB) wrote:This game is looking brilliant the more I see of it. It seems like they're actually putting more of an effort both visually and gameplay wise. I'm not a bit of a fan the way the Super Saiyan transformations are looking though.
I mean seriously, I don't get it.
Why?

Yeah, that's just really bizzare. Though to be fair, Toriyama did often make those mistakes. Trunks comes to mind.Rory wrote:Why do they have pupils? I mean seriously, I don't get it.

That's one thing I've always hated about the Sparking! series. They're like lifeless puppets beating the crap out of each other. So much Laughing for facial expressions. That's a big plus to me because the Sparking series always disappointed when it came to that. At least Budoukais 1 and 2 had expressions.

According to the captain for that picture of Piccolo regenerating his arm, Piccolo's regeneration ability recovers health but diminishes ki. Makes sense.
Kanzenshuu: Is that place still around?

While I like the touch of regeneration (And... if Piccolo has it, so should Cell), it seems kinda cheap that the people who regenerate are the only ones that wind up dismembered. Though playing with a one-handed Tien would be... interesting...
(oooh, he should sooo lose his arm before doing a suicidal Kikoho of death...).

Aro started to laugh. “Ha, ha, ha,” he chuckled.- Actual quote from Twilight
That regeneration shot is from a cutscene.caejones wrote:While I like the touch of regeneration (And... if Piccolo has it, so should Cell), it seems kinda cheap that the people who regenerate are the only ones that wind up dismembered. Seriously? Well. I'm disappointed again. I was seriously hoping that was an in game feature. It'd be cool to have, no doubt.Nyoibo wrote:That regeneration shot is from a cutscene.caejones wrote:While I like the touch of regeneration (And... if Piccolo has it, so should Cell), it seems kinda cheap that the people who regenerate are the only ones that wind up dismembered. I wonder if they put in chopped-in-half Freeza...

Well... yeah. Such was the case in Super Butoden. But most of the limb-injuring combat we saw was vaguely cutscene-worthy anyway (Suicide Kikoho, Gohan's one-handed Kamehameha struggle with Cell, #19 getting his hands ripped off...). Umm... I don't know where I'm going with this.Nyoibo wrote:That regeneration shot is from a cutscene.caejones wrote:While I like the touch of regeneration (And... if Piccolo has it, so should Cell), it seems kinda cheap that the people who regenerate are the only ones that wind up dismembered. This is starting to remind me of the whole "We want one-armed Future Gohan!" in Meteor. Poor dismembered characters.caejones wrote:While I like the touch of regeneration (And... if Piccolo has it, so should Cell), it seems kinda cheap that the people who regenerate are the only ones that wind up dismembered. I was going to say hopefully future Gohan will be in it and will loose an arm!Ex-Dubbie369 wrote:This is starting to remind me of the whole "We want one-armed Future Gohan!" in Meteor.
