I'm sorry I missed this one but it looks like the ban image has been deployed anyway, thanks for that.

Anyway, seems quite interesting to see Kuriza in DBZ "2" - its a pity its not in the US version.]

By the way 707, those are probably better images than I could make even if I had a PS2 - nmy video capture card makes shit for images so thats just how that goes, nice to see you somewhat back in the community as well.

As for our Freezer friend, I have nothing to add that has not already been said.

I hope you don't mind that I fulfilled your "duty" for you laserkid, but I remember you saying that we should feel free to do it if you weren't around at the time. Love the Xellos avvie by the way. ^_^

nah its fine Jersymilk - I'm glad SOMEONE did it ^^;

and thanks - this Xellos shot is from Slayers Premium so its higher quality than most of my other Xellos shots from the TV series. Anyway to scabber back on topic before Vegetto EX decides to decapitate me

do any of you think Budokai 2 will ever come to the cube like the first one did? I know I loved the cube Budokai on rental, and I gave it good marks for the videogame site I do reviews for - it'd be nice to see Budokai 2 on GCN (mainly because I still do not have a PS2).

I've seen it mentioned in at least a couple of magazines that it's coming out on the cube, shortly before 3 comes out on PS2. But I've never seen anything official.

There's a reasonable chance. Gamecube is more popular in Japan than any other region, and it's a Japanese game (sort of). So maybe. But maybe they've just decided to concentrate on B3. Or maybe they're going to throw in a couple of things from B3 into B2 on the Gamecube (like how B1 got an early version of B2's cel-shading).

Since it seems Budokai 3 is little more than the V-Jump version of Budokai 2 I'd say they should just combine the two and call it Budokai 2 on the Cube.

Obviously you haven't been following the news about Budokai 3 very closely. This isn't going to be just Budokai 2 with prettier graphics and a few more fighters. The fighting engine is getting a complete over-haul, 3 new modes are being added (Including story, and Dragon Road).

My mistake. I apologize. The last I had heard was just the addition of Brolli and Coola.

Don't worry about it, this is all fairly new info, so I'm not suprised not everyone has heard it yet. Be sure to read previous posts though, you never know what you might find. :wink:

What happened to my thread....

I hope that they add something to the Gamecube version of Budokai 2. I really don't mind having the Gamecube version in english if I already have the PS2 version in Japanese, but I'll only buy it if they added something new. I wouldn't waste the money importing a game that I already played through months prior, even if it had a ton of new features though.

Didn't they add better shading and such to the Cube version of the original Budokai, to take advantage of the Cube's better graphical power?

No. The Gamecube does have greater graphic potential, but they just cel-shaded (without the borders) the graphics to better tie the game in with the sequel.
