Yes, it's a bit much, but I still don't understand something. Why did they remove Trunks' Story, although they've created a model for Future Gohan? It doesn't make sense.

Yep, though a lot is based on some scenes/limitations in the game.

Vegeta is shown as an SSJ when the Androids kill him. Rather than just a "bejiiiita went ssj offscreen, lols", I threw in the Cooler fight as a how. Plus, there's some bits of the Garlic Jr Saga where Vegeta is shown killing off some of Freeza's remaining loyalists.

All the Z fighters seem to get killed soon after each other, but Chiaotzu and Yajirobe didn't fit (max 5 for team fights). Switched to Kami's Lookout so every fight wouldn't be in "City Ruins". Would've been Korin's place, but that's not a stage.

And the Super Holy Water is because Kid Gohan doesn't have a Super Saiyan form, and he needs a couple years to grow to 'Teen' Gohan's apparent age. So, he drinks the water, survives, trains out in the glaciers or something until he's good at controlling Super Saiyan, then goes to attack the androids.

And "Hope" is just so the player can play as Future Gohan at least once, without it being the fight were he lost his arm in the anime History of Trunks, since he has both arms in-game.

Kid Buu Saga
*Vegetto allows himself to be absorbed in order to rescue his sons and Piccolo, but the Potara fusion is destroyed inside Buu. Goku and Vegeta do rescue the others, but when they free Fat Buu from his imprisonment, Super Buu begins yet another crazy transformation. Escaping his body, they meet Kid Buu, who immediately blows up the Earth, killing Piccolo and the boys and destroying the Dragonballs. Though Kibitokai manages to save Goku and Vegeta and bring them to his world, Kid Buu follows…*
01; ~Supreme Kai’s World~ “No More Fusing” – Kid Buu vs. SSJ3 Goku (End), SSJ2 Vegeta (End, Halo) and Hercule.
*Kid Buu expels the good Mr. Buu, who leaps to Hercule’s defense*

*Years after the death of Cell, Trunks continues to protect the Earth. When reports come in of a new wave of death and destruction being unleashed, Trunks speeds to intercept.*

*Trunks easily gains the upper hand, but the man vanishes before he can get any answers. Unable to trace the man, Trunks decides to journey back to the past, in hopes someone still alive then will have a clue. But, appearing in the middle of a city with a sword/in armor and a strange machine attracts unwanted attention...*
02; ~Capital City~ "Wrong Place, Right Time" - Trunks vs Videl (Pigtails)
*Great Saiyaman arrives and vouches for Trunks. Videl backs off, leaving with a parting nag at Gohan to enter the Tournament. Gohan doesn't recognize the man Trunks fought, but is going to be visiting everyone soon anyway to tell of Goku returning for a day at the Tournament, so he asks Trunks to come along. Trunks, his respect for his teacher shaken by Gohan's outfit, asks for a quick spar first.*
03; ~Mountain Road~ "Justice!" - Trunks vs Great Saiyaman
*No-one is able to identify the man from Trunks' description. Though disappointed, Trunks decides to stay for the Tournament anyway, both to ask Goku when he comes back and to have a good fight with his friends. He joins Vegeta for training and is shocked by his younger self's transformation to Super Saiyan. Vegeta challenges them both to come at him full-force.*
04; ~Hyperbolic Time Chamber~ "Vegeta's Pride" - SSJ Vegeta (Late) vs SSJ Trunks and SSJ Kid Trunks.
*The Tournament day arrives, and after cheering his younger self on in the Junior Division, Trunks goes to draw his lot for the main event. There, he recognizes Spopovich, and is restrained from attacking him immediately only from fear he will vanish again. Trunks replaces Pintar in the order...*

*Piccolo withdraws from his match, and Gohan and Trunks are barely held back from interfering in Spopovich's brutal beating of Videl. When Spopovich attacks Super Saiyan 2 Gohan, however, Trunks cannot be held back! The Kai tries to stop him, needing Gohan's energy to be stolen*

*Despite his enraged offensive, Trunks is unable to overpower the Supreme Kai in time, and Spopovich leaves with Gohan's power. Explanations and rejuvinations later, the heroes fly off to find Babidi's hideout and stop Buu's resurrection. Piccolo and Krillin are turned to stone, and the Saiyans enter Babidi’s ship to defeat Dabura. After Vegeta and Goku defeat two of Babidi’s minions, Dabura appears and teleports them to his realm to fight. Trunks demands to fight with Gohan, knowing he hasn't recovered fully.*

*Angry, confused and hurt, Trunks finally breaks his limitations and ascends as well, becoming a Super Saiyan 2! Goku powers down and apologizes, explaining the idea of Fusion, especially that the fusees need to be close in strength. And Fusion is desperately needed - Majin Buu was unleashed, and Vegeta and Gohan had both died fighting it. Babidi's death at the hands of Piccolo had only unleashed the beast, not calmed it. Goku begins teaching Trunks the dance, but Majin Buu has begun to move towards West City, where the Dragon Radar lies. In a desperate attempt to buy time, Goku and Trunks teleport to challenge Buu together.*
10; ~City Ruins Day~ "An Army of Super Saiyans?" - SSJ Trunks (Aura Change Ultimate 2 [changes aura to SSJ2's]) and SSJ2 Goku (End, Halo) vs Majin Buu.
*Majin Buu simply regenerates any damage the heroes do to him. Goku blinds Buu with a Solar Flare and the two warriors perform the Fusion Dance for real for the first time...*
11; ~City Ruins Day~ "Unexpected Victory" - Gogeta [Gorunks? Kakarunks?] vs Majin Buu.
*The Fusion's great power is more than enough to obilterate Majin Buu and return in triumph to the Lookout before defusion occurs. Goku decides to teach the younger Trunks and Goten the Dance as well, as he still has most of his day left, while Trunks prepares to return to the future, eager to stop Majin Buu from being released in his own time...*
12; ~Wasteland Day~ "Future Perfect" - SSJ Trunks (Aura Change Ultimate 2) vs Spopovich (Alt), Dabura and Babidi.
