Vegeta capsule get retrieved - would it change anything?
While i was re read what if chapter in DB Multiverse i ve realized something, if Kuririn killed Vegeta while he was about to escape in his capsule, Blooma could retrieve it, would it allow our heroes to get to Namek much earlier, possibly before Freeza? It took one month to travel to Namek in son of Katas spaceship plus extra time for Gohan and Kuririn to get out of hospital and for Blooma and her father to fix ship.

Re: Vegeta capsule get retrieved - would it change anything?
I think it was stated that the process of converting the ship's language systems from Namekian to "Earthian" -- for lack of a better phrase -- took five days in addition to the ten for refurbishing it. Bulma should have a certain level of familiarity with the language and numerical values of the system used by Vegeta's ship as she did tinker around with the scouter left behind by Raditz almost a year before. She would still need to convert the language while developing the ship itself but it should take less time.
The earthling envoy can hopefully make it to Namek in six days just like Goku accomplished in the manga. According to the timeline which Herms was able to construct from information extracted from the manga and Daizenshuu, the earthlings set off for Namek on the 14th of November. Freeza didn't leave for Namek until the 21st and even then it would still require another 2-3 weeks for him to get there, apparently.
Since the valour of the earthlings wouldn't be in question, the Namekians should allow them to use the Dragon Balls. Given Porunga's limitations at the time, however, they could only resurrect three people at the most. Tenshinhan isn't leaving without Chaozu and I doubt the little guy would leave his friend so the group is left with one unused wish. Maybe they would converse it for a later time? It could shave off roughly 43 days from the waiting period. The earthlings would either need to remain on the planet for one and a half months -- placing them in the cross-hairs of Freeza and his ilk in the process while trying to survive off the provisions they brought with them as the Namekians don't eat -- or return to Earth and wait for a period before returning.
Ordinarily someone might comprehend the possibility of using Earth's Dragon Balls to resurrect the remaining deceased fighters. Chaozu has already been brought back to life by them, though. You're faced with the same dilemma basically.
In the meantime, Freeza will have landed on Namek. After having his way with the local population through interrogations and murder, the planet would be expunged of its inhabitants as originally intended. When the earthlings return all they're going to find is a desolate planet with only dilapidation and reprehensible carnage to greet them. Maybe Freeza will have put the planet up for sale in the meantime? Regardless, the earthlings would likely return to Earth and immediately set out using their own Dragon Balls to resurrect the Namekians.
Care to guess what happens then? They don't know where the Planet Trade Organisation is located and it would be suicide to oppose them. It's possible they utilise their Dragon Balls to first resurrect Tenshinhan and Chaozu before using the third to relocate their people to a planet suitable for them that's concealed. Freeza will have learned from the scouter communications during the Saiyan conflict on Earth that Piccolo is dead. Considering what he will have learned from the Namekians on the home planet about the essential nature of their maker for them to be usable, the Earth should be safe for a time.
The era of peace will have deteriorated into hopeless terror and death once the cyborgs are finished developing. Earth's fighters are even more woefully unprepared than what was seen in the future timeline. It would essentially devolve into said timeline except Trunks doesn't exist to act as the final opposing remnant of the Earth's fighters and Cell lacks Freeza's genetic material. Who knows? Such conditions could render him earthbound unless he acquired a spaceship.

Re: Vegeta capsule get retrieved - would it change anything?
They'd just rezz Piccolo for the earth DB's, Chaozu due to being rezzed once already and maybe Ten or Yamcha with the next wish, they'd probably stay and train at Kaios till everyone was ressurected and fly back together. None would want to fall behind the others.Lionel wrote: Tue Jun 02, 2020 11:15 pm I think it was stated that the process of converting the ship's language systems from Namekian to "Earthian" -- for lack of a better phrase -- took five days in addition to the ten for refurbishing it. Kuririn would go in vegetas pod once Bulma blew up Nappas.
We don't know if the self destruct command would blow up both at the same time, she references vegetas remotes self destruct button in the singular tense and that blew up nappas, but lets say the butterfly effect and retreiving Vegetas pod before the earth government do means she doesn't make a show of ordering Nappas back on tv and therefore doesn't destruct it.
Kuririn goes alone if they have one pod. Not sure if Gohan would go in the second.
We aren't sure if Guru would feel the need to unlock Kuririns power, but lets say the slight threat of Piccolo and knowing that Vegeta has some kind of infastructure supporting his invasion (although they wouldn't know about Freeza) means he errs on the side of giving it to him.
If they use all 3 of the wishes and the humans go home. Freeza attacks Namek....
Now I've asked variations of this before.... I wonder if Freeza would destroy the planet. It depends on if they admit the dragonballs are still in play just currently inactive for ages.... He might order it occupied and then head to earth in the mean time.
If they tried to lie and say the DB's are gone he'd threaten to destroy the planet and do it. If he gets his wish on either planet he would want to destroy the dragonballs or destroy the planets containing them.
When Guru dies the draognballs are stone, but they were anyway so Freezas forces couldn't notice the difference. They'd obviously lie to live the rest of the namekian year before they are found out.
Guru probably wouldn't transfer ownership of the balls in this scenario.
If the initial invasion plays out the same and scouters are destroyed they don't know Nail is so much stronger than his non ginyu henchmen.
They could possibly hope the DB's reactivate, maybe by lying about the timescale, Nail wipes out the occupation and they wish for the Namekians to be sent to new namek, but this relies on Freeza or the ginyus not being there or not wiping out Nail because they don't know how strong he is. The Namekian balls don't scatter so they when they put the stone balls back where the live balls used to be, Nail could be ordered to destroy the Ball/s in the event the timing wont work to use them to escape.
When Freeza shows up to earth the earthings actually have a shot, they have no beef with him, and they might realise they could hand over the balls and he'd have no reason not to let them live as long as the db's were gone. There's only 1 saiyan left, who's incredibly peaceful. Vegeta and Nappa had betrayed Freeza by going off so they haven't killed a single freeza force employee.
Goku's ship is never needed to be fixed into a ship, but perhaps they do it anyway more to make the gravity machine at Goku's request, he doesn't have the need to get strong to rematch Vegeta but he might ask for fun anyway. They probably just have a G room without it being a ship.
Another Variable is how much attention Kaiosama is paying, if he is keeping an eye on Freeza he could warn the others about his arrival, a year of gravity versus 5 days and maybe the RoSaT could make them not fall behind like people assume. But Kaio is lazy.
After meeting Freeza if he lets them live the Dragon Team would definelty want to train in case freeza ever comes back or becomes a threat later.
They probably don't find out Freeza has been to Namek and hopefully he doesn't find out they have, because even then Freeza knows they didn't know about him and fuck with him.
If freeza does kill the Dragon Team but not destroy they planet they go back to Kaio-Sama and their non combatant friends try and use some ship to get back to Namek again. They either find it abandoned or slaughtered. Their only chance is if the Namekians did escape, Kaio can find them and they can remotely be rezzed.
If Freeza doesn't know or care about the Dragon Team being alive/alive again, they still train because of him.
So they are kinda prepared when the androids come.
Does Goku get the heart virus this time, maybe not due to the butterfly effect.
Ironically not having Supersaiyan makes them all need to get to around Freeza level in base.
There is a danger though, if they don't know he transforms, and do for some reason confront him they will be fucked. But again, probably remote ressurect by contacting new Namek. Freezas getting pissed and suspicious and probably starts scouring the universe for Namekians and blowing up earth at this point.
If he does blow up earth ironically they Dragon Team are saved from Cell and Buu.
Does Buu get released but weaker? I'm not sure how that works. I feel like Kaioshin could take him if babidi can't sense him and get there first?
If Earth remains it depends on if/when/how Goku lives or super saiyan is discovered.
There is no saiyan Trunks, but there probably is a human Trunks he's less cocky about confronting the androids.
Gohan probably doesn't sacrifice himself against 17 without the insurance of a saiyan trunks who "will surpass him soon" but perhaps he does, either way someone goes back even if it's Bulma.
Slight variables depending on if they had super saiyan in the future (Gohan probably would) and if Goku lived initially.
They may even choose to attack Gero directly.
If they do choose to train they better hope Goku got the virus way later or earlier, because otherwise they are fucked without Vegeta and a probably Nail-less Piccolo....
Kamiccolo is probably still weaker than 17 post fusion which is a shame.
They are probably more likely to surivive 17 and 18 without Vegeta being a prick and a Trunks that is his kid to start shit.
They flee, saving a bunch senzu and keep moving Goku.
No one has IT though so that's a possible problem later.
A Cell without Freeza parts would be interesting, but Freeza probably does come here at some point and get sampled, unless he needs to die to do so and doesn't die on earth?
The lab isn't as trashed so they don't need Cell's info to raid it. Unless 17 pre-empts there being remote instructions in there and destroys it but they seem careless.
Kamiccolo is still stronger than initial Cell but it's closer. Perhaps cell doesn't escape? He probably still does...
There's no IT and Cell surpasses Piccolo quicker, so one big variable is if all the dragon team abandon chasing Cell to sit outside the room of spirit and time. They may have used it already earlier thanks to Freeza...
It depends on if they can avoid the androids for long enough to get stronger than Cell or all 3 androids, no one is prepared for 16's strength though...
Possibly Ten dies and perhaps the weaker Piccolo dies too, Goku can't IT to save them...
If Cell reaches second stage they NEED to have super saiyan to have a chance.
Their only chance would probaly be training Gohan in there, who probably hasn't been in already due to Chichi not allowing him that kind of training when Freeza probably didn't turn out to be an immediate threat...
If he Dragon Team make it through Cell era effects a lot, with Goku? With the other androids around?
When Buu rolls round the dragon team probably struggle with Dabra until perhaps Gohan unlocks super saiyan 2 and beats him. He can probably beat him in SS1 if Gohan kept training with Goku.
No Vegeta is around and so perhaps Goku doesn't suggest using a day pass. But Goku is probably alive anyway.
Buu might be dead from and earlier freeza based earth destruction...
Beerus comes and scraps with the dragon team but is placated by food. No Buu to piss him off.
Probably not enough saiyans for SS God so they don't need it.
Did Champa request a fighting tournament before he saw the saiyans? If so Goku and co are still recruited.
They get owned by Hit and probably some of the others so fast that Zeno doesn't actually show up in time.
Zamasu doesn't go bad.
The universe survives until zeno eventually destroys it or Demigra/the demon realm make a move on it.
