It was this book that educated Shenron on the Super Saiyan God ritual. Could this book hold more secrets of the Saiyan history and possibly information on even stronger Saiyan transformations?

They left the lore surrounding the Super Saiyan God painfully vague. What evil Saiyans? Why a ritual? Why are Saiyans able to tap into divine energy by transforming? Why divine energy? What is divine energy and what makes it better than normal energy besides being stronger and harder for mortals to sense? I would really like if they brought up some of these questions in the canon and I think a lot of them could be answered using this book as a plot device.

I'd prefer this Namekuseijin book to hold secrets about the Namekusei people instead. It would be far more interesting if it has information about a certain red-eyed form (that can also serve as the god form for the warrior-type) so that Piccolo can obtain it.

If they have a book that holds history of other planets in the past that they've never been in contact with, they probably learned these things via magic, like making random wishes to the dragon to tell them interesting stuff about the universe.

Always found it weird the Namekians would have such a book holding info about Super Saiyan God. Hopefully that's not the only event it documented...

According to the Toriyama interview quote that elaborated on Yamoshi and the SSG ritual, the Grand Elder of Namek at the time was in contact with Yamoshi's drifting spirit and wrote down the legend of the Super Saiyan God.

Apparently, he knew somehow that the conditions of Yamoshi's death had resulted in the creation of a ritual that would call forth the legendary Super Saiyan's departed soul to create a Super Saiyan God.

Interesting, I’d like to see characters other than the Saiyans to get transformation power-ups as well.

I'd rather have the NBoL be about the namekians, that dude named Katatsu, their planet, the DBs and their origin that apparently is directly linked to Zalama. For more saiyan lore, I prefer that to come from a U6 journey.
