Not clicking for some reason. To me it kinda looks like the same cover over and over again.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

# 7 is the best cover thus far I think.

I agree that 7's not too bad.

But do we really need the extra mini-Gokus at the bottom of each dvd next to the title?

These covers really do all look the same. While I do like SSJ4 Goku, I'm getting pretty sick of seeing him all over every single cover (even before he appears in the series!). Oh well, I figure that they'll probably start putting SSJ4 Vegeta on the cover as soon as they get to the evil dragons arc, which should be the next set.

I actually like #8 more than #7 for some reason. Maybe it's Super No.17's smile.

I agree that cover 7 is the best of the GT R2s so far. What I don't like about volume 8 is that Goku is just so up in your face, while the current villain is shunned to the corner of the cover. I know the Super 17 arc didn't last that long, but c'mon...

While the extra Goku at the bottom near the title also seems a bit unnecessary, I guess it's a nice touch that they updated it from the kid Goku since this is now the form that we'll be seeing Goku mainly at throughout the rest of the series.

I agree with Herms in that I don't so much like that SS4 Goku with an outer space backround has been on almost all of the covers. I'd like some pictures of the fights like the Z and DB ones.

They're decent enough, although I think, instead of the little Goku behind the numbers, they should have other main/semi-main characters, like Pan or Gohan.

Are these the covers for the American DVDs coming soon?

They're the covers for the Japanese GT DVDs. These are essentially a release of the discs in the GT Dragon Box, only as individual DVDs rather than as a box set of the entire series.
