How old is Gohan in each arc/film?

It wasnt all Funimation's fault. Toei added an extra year for Goku being in space, so Gohan was 10. Also I could've sworn the sub said he was 11 at one point too.

Hmm I actually went and checked Gohan’s birthday episode and Chi Chi does indeed say he turned 11 in the subs. There’s even 11 birthday candles on his birthday cake. My mistake.

So it was the original Japanese anime that fucked up his age not Funimation.

TBF, it makes more sense to me this way. The only thing I don't like is Gohan being 18 in high school, but even that could make sense. 6 days to Namek is super senseless considering all the power gains everyone made.

I should have clarified. I meant starting high school. Its a little odd, but I admitted that there are circumstances where that could make sense such as his home schooling situation.

He can be 18 and in his final year of high school but it’s kind of weird for him to go to traditional schooling for just one year. Him being a first year high school student (so about 15/16) makes more sense. I can’t remember it the anime ever said if he was 16 or 18 but the manga at least said he was 16.

Even if Gohan was physically 18, I’m pretty sure he’d legally be considered a 17 year old when he entered high school. Then again, who knows how birth certificates work in the Dragon Ball world?

Not entirely on topic, but isn't Goku around 45-50 years old by End-of-Z? And close to 60 when GT starts?

There's actually only a five year timeskip between Z and GT, so he's 52 at the beginning of GT and 53 later on since about a year passes. He's 47 at the end of the manga.

Correct. One thing probably worth to mention is that Goku got a new birth year, though (thanks to Dragon Ball Minus/Jaco, the Galactic Patrolman). If you consider that Goku spent full three years inside the incubator, then he was born in AGE 736. You'd need only to add one number to that.

Also related, changing Goku's birth year affects Kuririn too, since he was stated to be one year older than Goku. If you take the above as a fact, then Kuririn's new birth year is AGE 735.
