That's true, there is a difference there from Japanese and American, so I'm probably wrong on that assumption haha.ETC123 wrote:My guess on this is that it is a Japanese-produced trailer for the purpose of showing to US distributors, to find out if they are keen on licensing the property for further distribution. It doesn't mean it is licensed, simply that they tried selling it out. Back in the late 80's there was an English language Saint Seiya promo made by Toei, for much the same reason. Most of these aren't shown to the general public since it's not really made for them, but leaks happen.disturbed001 wrote:I work at Starz Entertainment and work around a lot of video editors, and I would lean towards this being un-professional because there's a nice little part of this trailer where we have the narrorator talking while it's showing some characters talking. I know that in Television, showing clips of characters talking, while not actually HEARING what they're saying, is a big no no. Which leads me to question this being official.
Also, as to why people talk while the narrator speaks, it's another thing that happens in Japanese previews. Lets just say it's a difference in how both cultures approach these things- I mean, it's safe to say that Japanese trailers in general are structured very differently to American ones.
