Vegeta turns into a Statue

This has always confused me after seeing Majin Vegeta kill himself.. why did he turn into a statue after killing himself? Does it have something to do with the Majin symbol on his head?

And I guess I'll go ahead and mention that I've tried using the search feature before to find things that I knew were somewhere and couldn't track them down... So yeah, apparently searching is an art, or something. :?


(Well, or one could just read through every single post in the forum... :shock:)

And... Majin Vegeta should so go statue in the games after the "Final Explosion", if he doesn't already and I somehow didn't notice...
