I somewhat doubt it. At the very least, these VIZBIG releases won't be complete for awhile (looks like at least a year at this rate), so there wouldn't be another release until at least that's done with. But then, Funimation did discontinue their Ultimate Uncut release halfway through to release the season sets, and Viz did switch their Dragon Ball manga to the smaller Shonen Jump line halfway through as well, so who knows?

Man, I hope that this is actually what VIZ says it is, because 3 volumes in 1, for only like $20 is a great deal. But if it's the 1 and 1/2 per volume like the Kanzenban, then I might not be so interested...

No , I think Herms said that they are twice as big as the Kanzenban. Also it's not 20 bucks. At amazon.com you can find it for 12 dollars.

That's right. The tankoubon and Viz's original DB graphic novels have on average 12 chapters per volume, while the kanzenban have an average of 15. So a kanzenban is 1 1/4 as big as a tankoubon (as far as page number is concerned; page size is different), while a VIZBIG will be 3 times as big. So a VIZBIG volume will be more than twice as big as a kanzenban volume. Kanzentai has a page comparing the tankoubon and kanzenban in depth.

Guys,

I think the VIZBIG Dragonball Manga's have been delayed. They will now be released on 3th June. Well I really hope this won't go as slow as the Remastered ones, but from the look of it... This will go very slow.

Maybe they're going to fix the mistake they made with Kenshin and include all of the color pages in color, instead of just the first chapter. Just wishful thinking, but you never know.

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but weren't they coming out on like, May 27th, before? That's only another week, no big deal.

No, it was (and still is) a bunch of DVDs that are coming out on the 27th. (Plus one Blu-Ray release.) The Viz Big volumes were going to come out on the 6th.

Um, yeah. There's been nothing to suggest that these releases aren't three in one. That's been established for a long time, the existing Rurouni Kenshin VIZBIG is no different.
