I think a Dragonball RPG (ordinary RPG) would be good.

or a DB only fighting game, starring Goku, Yamcha, Launch, Chichi, Tenshinhan, Kuririn, RR army, Piccolo (Daimoao and jr), Tao etc.

Maybe a Dragonball game (GT and Z count) which is a bit like Soul Calibur III (mission mode, chornicles of (insert DB thing here), challenges, Create a Character etc) maybe the wives will be playable too (Especially Videl and Chichi)

If Videl isn't playable, I'll riot.

And as for Chi-Chi? As long as it's 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai Chi, I'm cool with it. Kid Chi-Chi? Not a fan of.

Anyways, since this forum last was online, I managed to pick up Super DBZ and, well... It's very, very close to what I described in my opening post, especially with the whole "move learning" thing. (Seriously. Firing a Kamehameha with Videl made my life. So. Fricking. Awesome!) I think, expanding upon (Far more levels of customization; The ability to actually train the moves, instead of just "selecting and inheriting" them) and mixing that game's customization system, with the Sparking! series' gameplay and roster, would be an EXCELLENT Dragonball experience.

Oh, and more "What-If?" stuff. I've been through the entire DB storyline enough to know it like the back of my hand. Give me something new, Namco!

I want:

-Sparking!-style gameplay (DBZ fights are far more large-scale than what a traditional fighter will allow)

-Only characters that matter, who all have unique styles (character rosters more like Budokai/Super DBZ/Burst Limit than Sparking!)

-Spike-style character art/models (à la Sparking!), not Dimps-style character art/models (à la Budokai and Burst Limit)

-Simple, but not dumbed down, controls (for example, Smash Bros. has simple controls, but they allow for a lot of customization)

So, I think what I'm looking for is a modified Sparking! All that has to be changed is a whole bunch of characters have to be removed, the remaining ones have to be made more unique, and the controls have to become simpler.

Spike, make it happen!

Well I'm really looking forward to the MMO, because I'm the kind of person that enjoys crafting my own character and exploring things at my own leisure.

But in terms of fighting games, I'd like to see some more of Super Dbz, it's the only Dragonball games my friends enjoy playing.

Marvel Vs. Capcom with DB characters.
(no, seriously... that'd be fun. Throw in Naruto and Onepiece and make it D.O.N.2.......)

(I keep forgetting my "combine all the best control schemes" control scheme idea.. :(...)

Oooh... Wait... no, I don't have enough of an idea to describe it yet... :(...
*goes off to analyze a bunch of fights*

Budokai Tenkaichi 4.

The MMO is just paying money to cavort with the same morons who write OC DB fanfic, and I don't much care that the characters aren't 'unique' (like the show's characters were?), nor am I a fighting game fan. I vastly prefer a Dragonball Z game to a fighting game that has characters who resemble DBZ's cast.

I was with you until you mentioned Naruto and One Piece.

Now I'm just offended you'd put those two in the same league as DB.

Besides, we don't need that. MUGEN for the win.

Full fledged Dragonworld.
From Budokai 2, serious, that was my favourite story mode so far, and its a shame to see people crap all over it, it got a little repetitive towards the end (if you kept losing that is), but it was a really original take on the series, and I'd love to see it come back.

Hehehehe. I threw in Naruto and Onepiece just because mimicking the MVC style without something else included seemefelt wrong... and they already have a crossover game.
... And the DB Vs SF mugens I've found only work on windows 95/98... :(

People didn't. It was crap to begin with, with the biggest problem being that you had to play the entire goddamn thing over to unlock, say, Vegetto or Videl in the last level.

Which is why I avoided the original Budokai series in the first place.

I want to have Bra as a playable character! Even minor movie characters are playable, why not her I wonder? -_- Even Bulma was playable once.

Because she didn't do anything...ever. Her existence is practically useless.
She went shopping in GT, that's just about it as far as character development goes. At least Bulma was a prominent character in DB and DBZ.
Aro started to laugh. “Ha, ha, ha,” he chuckled.- Actual quote from Twilight

Agreed, Bulma actually fired a gun on several occasions, and If I remember correctly, even killed people during the Red Ribbon arc with her rocket..jet..plane.

The only thing of consequence Bra ever did was get Vegeta to shave his mustache, that was her mark on the Dragonworld.

In its own way, that may have been just as appreciated or valuable a deed as any planet-saving by the others.

That mustache was evil.

Otherwise... yeah, Bra's useless, and has no business being playable in a game. As someone pointed out, she not a "female Vegeta," she's a "mini-Bulma." Minus the brains or resourcefulness.

It's sad that the moustache is the only thing I like about Vegeta now. Seriously, it was hideous, but it made for comedy gold.
