DBM's lows are fucking low. But their highs, well damn this final shot of the demons is pretty fucking high. Would have been better if this was the final shot to a DBM special of Dabura and Buu reclaiming Hell but it is what it is.

So, who are the girls? I can recognize everyone here, but I don't know who three of those four girls are.

Dragon Ball Heroes characters, if I had to guess.

Three of them are just random demon girls, and the other is Towa, Dabura's sister. There's also Mechikabura, Dabura and Towa's grandfather, who on Heroes' canon is much, much stronger than the both of them (to the point that, in his prime, he was actually superior to SSj4 Xeno Gogeta/Vegito), and the greatest ruler of U7's Demon Realm. There's also Mira, Towa's sort-of husband/son. And Demigra, one of the Demon Gods of the Demon Realm (not to mistake for a makaio or makaioshin, but rather a permanent demonic transformation that grants god ki, so, basically, a permanent ssj god. not actually on par with the Xeno's SSj4 Fusions, perhaps in his more advanced states tho).

There's also Garlic Jr. and Dhoulmagus from Dragon Quest VIII

It's another special. Guess the plan is recontextualizing Movie 11/Bio-Broly to tie in with canon/U18, lord knows why instead of something actually interesting.

Salagir mentioned in the comments this was the only special completed unfortunately. That doesn't really improve the situation just sharing that he didn't have other options. I'm going to take a break and read it in a few months when the main story returns.

I don’t see the point in giving us a Broly special when he hasn’t been relevant to this story in like 10 years. Broly’s constant rising power is something I can tolerate because it was a HUGE misconception back in the 2000s..

I wouldn’t be surprised if there were some fans who still think that’s how his power works to this day. Especially when HEROES gives him a new form every two years.

I think it's one of those specials that was planned years ago but wasn't completed until recently. Usually they're released whenever they finish because there were a few times that Salagir mentioned the following special is the only one available. U3, U6, U9, U11, and U13 are also out of the tournament but have specials planned. Out of the universes still participating I think only U5 and U7 will have more specials. I'm not sure what will happen once they cover all the specials or don't have any available but I assume a two month break between main chapters.

I hate these horrible cynical torture porn "everyone dies" filler chapters.
At least with Cell or Buu they make sense because they are canon characters and that's what'd happen.
But this stupid fanwank version of Broly's victor is going to be unearned as well as boring.
Plus it's stupid because they should just be able to blow up earth and use the namekian dbs if things go south.

I'm going to try and not read each page and just come back when it's done and take it in one hit.
