So no new game announcement

This E3 has been so bad. Nintendo might be the only good conference

It looks like I was right. A new game will probably be out in 2022 and having a Nintendo port the following year.Hellspawn28 wrote: Sat Jun 12, 2021 12:39 am It will probably be Kakarot on the Switch. Look at the pattern for the other games since 2016
2016: XV2
2017: XV2 on the Switch
2018: Fighterz
2019: Fighterz on the Switch
2020: Kakarot
2021: Mostly likely Kakarot on the Switch
2022: New game

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.
I honestly wouldn’t mind this. They just need to incorporate a more fun story and things to draw in casuals. Also I wouldn’t mind some more obscure characters from the series.DBZAOTA482 wrote: Sat Aug 28, 2021 9:13 amFighterZ 2, fam.budokaifanatic007 wrote: Fri Aug 27, 2021 3:35 pm Any chances of an announcement this coming December for Jump festa? They can also capitalize on the hype of the upcoming movie.budokaifanatic007 wrote: Sun Aug 29, 2021 3:01 pmI honestly wouldn’t mind this. A sequel is the only shot FighterZ has of being playable online. The possibly of including rollback netcode alone is enough reason for FighterZ 2 to exist.Modern_Dingus wrote: Tue Nov 09, 2021 9:19 pm Do we really need a FighterZ 2? The game is already so polished and well-rounded. Not that I enjoy ports, but with a game as carefully crafted and made as FighterZ, all they can add is either a Story and more characters. Neither of which would be worth $60 unless we're talking about branching pathways, different timelines and busting into the world of characters like Tao Pai Pai, King Piccolo, and movie characters like Garlic Jr.. Even then, it'd just be FighterZ 1.5.
Dokkan and Legends are holding steady, so I don't see a new Mobile game soon, we already know that we're not getting Xenoverse 3 since it was confirmed to have DLC next year. This only leaves Ports of older titles or a new game.
Frankly, I'm putting my money on a Kakarot sequel focusing on either the Original ( which I would actually buy honestly ) or on Super.

I guess you've seen this by now? https://en.dragon-ball-official.com/news/01_679.htmlSuper Saiyan Zach wrote: Sat Nov 13, 2021 8:31 pm Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if no new game was released in 2022. That being said, I could see something be announced in 2022 for release in 2023 (systems: PS5, XSX & Switch).
No source because they wouldn't admit it outright, but in practice we can constantly observe it. Ports count for that of course.ObnoxiousNamek wrote: Thu Nov 18, 2021 2:54 am Does anyone have a source for this supposed rule that they have to release a Dragonball game every fiscal year? Or Bandai will lose the IP license.
