I've never really found Gokuu attractive, but damn, that's one sexy figure. I definitely want to get all four of those One Piece/Dragonball figures. And those puzzles, too....I would love to see a closer up picture of Vegeta and Zoro staring each other down

And those keychains were also awesome! Damn, I want pretty much everything that's been shown in this thread....so much for my moneys

I'm unfamiliar with One Piece, (I know, I know, it's really good and I should look into it) so to all that are: are there any characters in One Piece that are similar to any of the characters from the original Dragonball series? Crossover figures with characters like Kid Goku and Young Krillin and other of our favorite characters when they were young would be awesome!

Most characters were shown as children in flashbacks. If you can find the second ending from the anime, you can see the designs of the five original main characters as children.

Though, since the One Piece cast members are mostly in their late teens/early twenties, just like the majority of early DB characters, only Goku and Kuririn need such equivalents. I guess Usopp would be the One Piece-equivalent of Kuririn, with Nami being Bulma, Zoro being Piccolo, and Sanji being Yamucha.

Not sure if this should go here or in a new thread, but here's seven pages of cool and/or weird DragonBall stuff on Shueisha's shopping site. On pages 4, 5, 6, and 7 they have all of the pictures Toriyama drew for the kanzenban as framed pictures with Toriyama's personal seal. They've also got pens based off of certain characters, and even DragonBall-themed fans.

edit: Really off topic, though kind of in the same vein, here's another bit of merchandise based on Jump cross-overs: Bobobo-bo-bo-bobo and Death Note! It's a figurine of "Bobo-Ryuuk". God help us all.

Too good to be true!! Dragonball and One Piece are my two favorite series, and now we're getting awesome crossover figures of them! And as evil as it is, releasing Chopper in all those cool outfits...GAH!! I'm gonna have to get them all... And dang it...Chichi and Bulma, too...

I must repeat how glad I am that I have a job. Looks at Kuririn one.... yea.... that is wroooooong.

Actually looking closer on.... it looks a bit... fake.... which relives me due to how the bottom right pair look.

Anywho, what more do you think we will actually get?

I love how they put these two in the famous "taking a dump while powering up pose" that is so often (and annoyingly) associated with Dragonball Z.

Also, does anyone else think the eyes look a little fake?

I love the hilarity of the Piccolo/Zoro and Trunks/Sanji keychains... since their English VA's are the same.

Not that it matters, I'm going to have them all ANYWAY (if they're legit?). I need to replace my one-footed Zoro and my broken haired SSJ3 Goku. I don't know why I love keychains so much, all they do is get in the way of things at work.

Zorro could be Piccolo or Vegeta.

Geez, more crossover DB/OP figures?! While I'm enjoying looking at more cool figures that I can't buy, I'm kinda surprised that Jump's Anniversary isn't leading to crossover figures from other Jump series. I mean, I saw the one crossover figure of Ryuk/Bobobo, but not much else.

And yeah, looking at the latest keychain figures, they're looking kinda... not real. Then again, the Bulma and Nami crossover figures look like they've been drawn too, so maybe that's what's up with the keychain pictures?

Ryuk/Bo-bobo is from years ago. Not a 40th thing. Both series collaborated a while back and drew the title page for each other's series. If you look in the volumes of Death Note, one chapter really doesn't have a title page. Chapter 32, from issue 35 2004 (I figured I would note that I own the issue so I don't look like a complete geek. Got it because I like Bo-bobo and DN of course). Yea, that is about when the figure came out. Or was it from weeks prior when they did another thing (Sawai drew chapter 18 of Death Note with Bo-bobo characters with the same text.)

OP/DBZ is the only crossover stuff hyped for the 40th, but there is hint of Bleach/Gintama. Which is fine by me. I love Gintama (not kintama) and used to like Bleach. So it works for me.

We may know more from the 29th issue of Jump for '08 (two weeks).

If Kuririn is Chopper, would that make Yamcha Ussop?
I always saw Kuririn as more of an Ussop, so I'm kinda disappointed that he crossed over with Chopper.

Most of this post didn't have me very excited- I'm not a One Piece fan and I'd rather be getting more just-DB stuff that's cool and clean and new and made up to that quality.

Then I saw that Daimaou and just about wet myself. Oh my GOD I want it right now. It looks freaking amazing and gorgeous and he's giving birth to one of the sons and hoooooooly shit. I want it o_o
