That was in the anime, I wouldn't expect it to apply here.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Goku looks a little wierd here but the art is more than good enough I'd rather Ume and Asura work together and keep the main stroy moving.
At this point I wonder if Gogeta Jr ever considering doing a couple chapters here and there.

Is it bad that I can tell exactly where those two top panels with Cell were referenced from?

I too can see it:
Spoiler:
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
This fight has just been spinning its wheels the whole time
We know Cell should logically be able to easily one shot a super saiyan 2 Vegeta, so they're both probably holding back significantly... and the fight is just about weird multiform gimmicks so far.
I really appreciated how Goku vs Oob got straight to the point with super saiyan 3 vs max kaioken.

But that's kinda the same thing Cell did with Goku at the Cell Games, although Goku was going all out in that fight.Jack Bz wrote: Tue Sep 14, 2021 7:47 pm This fight has just been spinning its wheels the whole time![]()

Cell splitting himself is possibly the same thing as with the Cell Jrs. That came out of nowhere.
That said, seeing all these spectacular fights prior to this one, it's kind of anti-climactic by this point.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
This fight is taking way too long and it's not engaging at all. Uub vs Goku was a beatdown easy to follow, these are just boom panels every two days.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
The news post said this artist's work ends on page 1950 so that might be when this fight ends.Koitsukai wrote: Fri Sep 24, 2021 2:26 pmThis fight is taking way too long and it's not engaging at all. Uub vs Goku was a beatdown easy to follow, these are just boom panels every two days.

DC Injustice 2 comics beat ya to it.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Vegeta learning shunkanido on his own is great.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I did not like the art for this chapter.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
I agree. I take back my words. The first few pages looked better than the rest. Now, don't get me wrong. The art is okay, I just didn't enjoy it as much as I'd like.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
It started with it's own, nice style, but this chapter is really ugly, Geets looks balder than Tony Soprano. And the shape of his body seems off, his arms.
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
This fight is split between 2 artists: One from page 1927 - 1935 and another from 1936 - 1950. Probably explains preferring the art style from early on (and I agree).
I think it's unfortunate but the way it has to be. I'd still prefer this to there being another special.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
The art quality has cratered. It's still decent by fanfic standards, but the previous artist really spoiled us.

Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.
