For myself, nothing had enraged me to an almost breaking point like the Future Majin Attack, even the Majin Bra fight, so I'm still reading. For all of its faults, it's still the only fan series that regularly updates, so we keep on keeping on.

(but if we get another story as bad as Future Majin Attack, it's over. God I hated that special.)

Are you talking about that chapter when Babidi invaded Earth in Future Trunks' timeline? If we put aside the absurdity of Future Gohan being able to break out of Dabura's grasp or actually dodging one of his strikes, it actually was a decent chapter both in art and how Gohan was written towards combating Babidi. The special that got to me was the Bojack origin one since I(and many others) found it pretty boring and Salagir's initial, passive aggressive response to the backlash from several readers certainly didn't help in making it anymore pleasant.

Yeah the same thing happened with veggetto taking Broly from him. He raged for a second and then let it go. I like this version of buu.

Would have been smart. But in a deus ex machina situation, of course Buu wouldn't think of that either.



Even though he had to have absorbed beings smarter than Bulma by this point, the plot ensures he'll never figure things out.

Re-reading the varga special, and this page caught my eye:



I reckon there's going to be a reveal that there's some sort of being that has planned this whole tournament from behind the scenes, including having the vargas discover the universe travel tech and insuring that only they can use it. Heck, it could be XXI.

I read it that way initially, but now that there's a bit more of mystery presented with "only U1 can use the technology and nobody knows why" and even Boo can't use it after copying it down to the atom. I feel there is definitely a reason that will be revealed.. The fact that we know from Bardock's flash forwards that all universes will be in danger (according to Piccolo) makes me think there's going to be some sort of rug pull about the nature of the tournament. It's one of the things I've been waiting for along with Vegetto turning against everyone.

I think the RoSaT, as well as the various Heavens and Hells, are like pocket dimensions within their universes.

But I wonder if this buu fragment got sent home from the pocket dimension as well or if he can also return to the tournament.

I wonder if that buu returns does he only have a fraction of his total power. It'd be a nice way to keep buu around but not let him have his way.

I wonder if this is setting up Uub as the counter for XII?
