Read the 5th chapter, it was good. Minor plot advancement, but the 3 double page spreads looked good & Nagayama's art/use of tones continues to impress. Pan being there to just be a lovestruck teen is a bit corny, along with Hit just being there as "cool guy", but I did like how they did Yamcha here in focusing on his "nice guy/simp" side & bravery in protecting the Glass Tribe lady (funny magnitudes weaker Kamehameha barely holding back a big Meta Coola blast aside). On the woman in question, I wasn't too interested or impressed by her beyond that big glass blasts spread, (which she immediately got soloed and then needed the guys to save her), but decent design & lol at Chilled being the one to kill the Glass Tribe (#worldbuilding). Jiren vs Bardock next up is lmao but should be visually cool at the very least.

Bardock vs Jiren was alright, if not too remarkable in terms of art, paneling & action choreography. Not too much to talk about considering more than half the chapter was a wordless fight.

So I feel like the chapter should be out by now, I think I saw some leaked pages where Goku cycles through the forms to fight Bardock I'm worried that'll take the whole chapter.

I want to see the conclusion of the piccolo fight but I guess we won't this time. And if we did it'd mean the end of the tournament as he has the fairy, which would mean everyone except the canon timelines erasure.

We still have the chronoa Vs skot fight and apparently Goku versus the new/old skot.

Shame this releases so slow and takes a few days to translate.

We also have Goten Vs super 17 and vegeta Vs wheelo too.

I guess turles Vs super vegeta is the last possible match up. It's still unclear where those two are. Or wheelo and the ss4s

Looking forward to the next ep of the anime just to have new content.

I know this was probably made before beast and orange but it seems like the Gohan and Piccolo fight was a missed opportunity to cross promote the movie honestly

Random thought but does anyone think Turles redesign and power up is sorta a deliberate attempt to distinguish him from Goku, as since he was around first we have Goten, Black, Cell games Gohan, Xeno Goku, and Bardock appearing all the time, now the evil goku isn't novel anymore they are trying to make him a bit different?

Well we haven't seen him turn back yet he had the long hair even standing around chilling.

I think it's sorta like ultimate he has the power drawn out to his limits or above like ss3/ultimate but doesn't have the s-cells to go super Saiyan but doesn't need to.. because he's already max power. That's my headcanon.

Gohan and piccolo got the fairy offscreen so he's due to be erased if Aois gets a moment away from chronoa and Goku. That's of vegeta or someone else doesn't kill him first. It's not looking good for him. He's already dead and doesn't have a friend to revive him. Even if he makes it outta this...

He's performing far better than he should be if he's just in Base, like proportionally better than Cumber, he had fruit too it's not entirely the same as Cumber IMO.

So Shenron isn't black yet, but perhaps they will juice him up to fight Gogeta.

If Gogeta diffuses the first team in the selection area are fucked.

I guess if the way from the Namek area to the Selection area is still broken the other fighters from Namek could join them.

Even Juiced up I can't see Chilled winning against the team in the Glass area.

Buu also is alone, but if there's any potential unlock element he's dangerous. I wonder if Cell will step in.

Gohan and the Piccolos seem in trouble. I'm not sure if Travel between the areas is possible.

West city seems fairer if it's 3 on 3 and Gohan is still down.

Really looking forward to the next chapter.

Any predictions for fights and the overall ending?

I as well. I thought it was just like a cameo/nod when they just had a frost race guy be the one to destroy lags planet, and had that guy look like him, but there he is. Presumably from the past of one if the remaining times as the others are destroyed now

Shonen jump and viz are sitting around with their thumbs up their asses so there's no official release you can only read it in english by sailing the high seas.

Which also makes it hard to talk about on forums and build hype for it and so on, and also means any eventual release suffers from “well i already read that online two years ago” so probably wouldn't sell.

They just need near simultaneous digital release and some people would pay but they always sit around with their dicks in their hands.

So many people on ig don't know any form of heroes. The ones that do know the anime and most of them are surprised to learn there is a manga.
