Akira Toriyama
Born on April 5, 1955. Manga artist. Resident of Aichi Prefecture. He said, "It's been a long time since I last met Nakatsuru-kun, so I'm very much looking forward to this interview.

Dragon Ball manga volume image: Toriyama's representative work "Dragon Ball" is a hit that has created many enthusiastic fans in Japan and overseas.

Dr. Slump
Dr. Slump is another masterpiece by Toriyama-sensei. He became more and more like the main character Arale's "Ncha Kotoba" theme.

Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru
Born May 22, 1962. animator. He was in charge of character design for "Dragon Ball Z" from the Majin Buu arc onwards.

Cashman
Nakatsuru was in charge of drawing the comic "Saving Soldier Cashman". Toriyama-sensei also said, "Maybe you're better than me?"

The cover illustration for this book is a special project in which the rough original was drawn by Mr. Toriyama, and the crimping, coloring, and finishing were done by Mr. Nakatsuru. Here, we introduce the making of the illustration! The editorial side of the magazine asked Mr. Toriyama, who said "Drawing pictures is troublesome" (laugh), to do a rough original drawing, and he readily agreed, saying "If Mr. Nakatsuru does the finishing touches, I'll do it."

Cover illustration 1: The editorial side requested "Goku the Super Saiyan, Gohan, Trunks, and Vegeta in the center. A color version with simple coloring to see the balance of colors also exists.

Cover illustration 2: Mr. Nakatsuru's cleanup where each character is divided into layers. Vegeta's shoulder rest was slightly extended according to Sensei's opinion. The teacher also said, "As expected of Nakatsuru-kun. A wonderful finish."

Cover illustration 3: Completed illustration. Mr. Nakatsuru was also in charge of coloring. In this book cover, Vegeta's position was slightly shifted due to the layout, and brush processing was applied to make each character stand out.

Is the noise Ten makes a usual "oww" kinda noise or a death gurgle.

Does Buu refer to him as having been "felled in a single blow" or is that just Viz.
What does Goku say when considering fusion partners?

I'm curious if he's dead or alive it seems super ambiguous.

^ In the French Kanzenban (Perfect Edition) retranslation, Ten Shin Han makes pain sounds when hit ("urgh") and lying on the ground ("o... oww...").

Majin Boo says "That guy was probably a great martial arts expert and I knocked him down with a single kick..."

Goku says "Ten Shin Han is K.O..." when thinking about who to fuse with.

So yeah, Ten Shin Han is not dead at this point (but soon after though, when the Earth explodes!).

I sold all my Italian volumes because I need money, so I'm going from memory, but I'm quite sure that Buu said something like "he looked like an expert but I defeated him with a single blow", and Goku said "defeated" as well, so I don't think Tenshinhan was dead.

There's a panel where Cell is fleeing from Piccolo, around the time he passes Vegeta and he says, according to my translation

"what concerned me most was the remote shutdown switch for 17 and 18 if they were no longer operative destroying even those two would be a simple task for anyone... ... but luckily for me no such switch exists..."

What's the best translation of this?
