So the 9:00 timeslot that was supposed to air subbed?

Yeah, it aired dubbed. The first two episodes of TFC were aired with the Polish dub.

Update: the two dubbed episodes that aired yesterday were a mistake and the show is now airing subbed. So yeah, seems like we're waiting until February for the dub to start airing properly.

I've been hearing reports Polsat Games has slipped up a few times airing a subbed episode instead of a dubbed one.

Much like AB VIdeo, the channel that airs DBZ Kai is a proud licensee for Toei.

The final episode aired today and the dub wrapped up.

Kosmowski made a post on his Facebook page reflecting on the end of the series and thanking some of the people who helped with the production, while noting that he will post more about it int he future.

As always, you can view the entire cast and crew on Dubbingpedia. The article in unprecedentedly long lol

As for myself, I think this was a great dub. Not perfect, but still a fantastic experience that was a real treat not just for Dragon Ball, but also fans of Polish dubbing. I've seen some people saying that this dub would've been better if someone else got it, if a studio other than PDK made it. That is just straight up not true. This wouldn't be even made if not for Kosmowski, and would'be been a total disaster on every level if any other studio got it. It's got issues for sure, but I honestly can't envision this dub being any better than it is.

I've yet to watch the dub of the last episodes but I gotta say I am really impressed by this dub.

As I said in my previous message, the cast has improved a lot since Super. It helped that Kai gave them more background and context.

And yeah, Kosmowski deserves some credit. Had it been another studio and another director, the dub would've sounded like some random western cartoon.

To wrap this up, I hope you guys get Daima dubbed in Polish.

I hope more anime gets dubbed in Poland, especially Dragon Ball projects.

I have a question, Bart, did Daimos ever get a proper dub? Or just lektors?

The original three Dragon Ball series never had Polish dubs, only lektors. Prior to Super Dragon Ball Z movies 12 and 13 were dubbed, but that's it, from what I've heard.

Marcin Doroziński was asked in an interview if RTL7 would consider dubbed airings, but he just said "No" without explanation, although he said Dragon Ball didn't bring big profits and that when they bought the broadcast license AB Groupe was the only company with Polish distribution rights and they offered them the French dub. So I guess RTL7 got the French dub packaged with the broadcast license and just used it as an experiment (he even says "We hoped that DB would attract viewers who had never watched us and that some of them would find something for themselves. In one word, DB was an investment").

Only a lector over the Italian dub.
