That sounds like there's a scrapped or unreleased dub of some movie. Maybe BoG or RoF?TheRed259 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 02, 2023 7:21 pm Giorgos Mataragas (Goku in this movie) had voiced Goku in the past as well and more specifically in the redub of episode 197 in DeAgostini's Dragon Ball Z DVD release. In this panel he mentions that he had also done a voice test for Goku in the past for a Dragon Ball movie that Argiris Pavlidis was directing. I can't figure out what he's talking about since as far as we know there is no Dragon Ball movie directed by Argiris Pavlidis in the Greek dub.

That's fantastic news! Exciting to hear that Dragon Ball Super is expanding its reach to Greece through Nickelodeon. Looking forward to seeing the continued success of the series in Eastern Europe. Thanks for sharing the update!
Re: Dragon Ball Super in Greece
Who knows! We don't know when he called him so it could also be Broly.
You're welcome but that's old news my friend. The Greek dub of Dragon Ball Super started on Nickelodeon 5 years ago. I just posted here again after all these years because this seemed to me the most appropriate place to talk about the upcoming Greek dub of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero.

Maria Plakidi will be the only main member from the old ANT1 cast who returns in the Greek dub of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. https://www.instagram.com/digitalsoul_e ... 5dBDgtsDUF

Is she still active in dubbing or retired?TheRed259 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 08, 2024 9:58 am Maria Plakidi will be the only main member from the old ANT1 cast who returns in the Greek dub of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero. https://www.instagram.com/digitalsoul_e ... 5dBDgtsDUF
Either way, it's nice to know that at least someone from the original Greek cast could return.

She is still active.
Someone from the cast said that they contacted Themis Psihogios as well but he wasn't in Athens to record for this movie and so they picked Giorgos Mataragas instead.

It's a pity that Themis Psihogios couldn't return as Goku but at least they had the intention to contact him.

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Greece
She doesn't ... sound the same. Then again, it's been 20 years.
By the way, have you heard that one of the female VAs of the original Ant1 DB dub was murdered?
Edit: Maria Bonikou (original VA of Krillin in DB). She was murdered by her own son.

I was really sad when I read this. Her work on Krillin played a decent part on why I fell in love with the character.

She? Are you referring to Maria Plakidi? She still sounds fine to me in that video.Nickolaidas wrote: ↑Thu May 02, 2024 1:13 pmShe doesn't ... sound the same. Then again, it's been 20 years.

Re: Dragon Ball Super in Greece
I never heard her before. I stopped watching Greek DBZ right around Goku 'killing' Frieza on Namek. When did she voice Krillin?
Ah, my bad, I don't frequent this site often, I missed your thread.
Re: Dragon Ball Super in Greece
OG Dragon Ball episodes 61, 83, 104, 126 and Dragon Ball Z episodes 11-12, 22, 24, 36-37, 41, 43-44, 52-53, 88-96, 105, 108, 111-112, 115-178, 180-184. I just found these on wiki (since Greek Dub DB doesn't have the episodes where she voiced Krillin in DBZ) but I can confirm that the episode numbers are correct. https://youtu.be/NlLEVOxIRHc?t=64Nickolaidas wrote: ↑Fri May 03, 2024 2:37 am I never heard her before.
