The claim that all the episodes are done isn't actually true. 2nd KA for second cour content and LO for final episodes is still in progress at the moment. I suppose he means they're "ready" in the sense that by the time each episode rolls around, it'll have been done for a while. But yeah, as it stands, people are absolutely still animating for this series right now.

Ah, so we're looking at a half-year run then? With the first cour being either entirely finished or at least very close to it? Definitely an unusually good schedule for a modern anime even if it's not quite as perfect as we were previously led to believe.

It wasnt the timeslot that really forced Super to not have blood, but rather that its a very international show, and most broadcasters frown on blood. But there is hope, the lack of blood was a MAJOR criticism of Super and apparently in a more streaming friendly world they wouldnt need to keep things kidfriendly.

I do hope La Tele or Telefuturo and pretty much any broadcaster that doesnt mind blood airs Daima.

I REALLY hope this late timeslot is to allow Roshi to sexually harrass women. I know this is an oddly specific fear but I think there really isnt anything to justify it airinig so late.

It would be weird to see an elderly Roshi (or any other elderly character) mixed with all the chibi characters. And I don't think Roshi will ask for pafu-pafy from chibi-fied women.

I do wonder what will streaming services do with Daima's first episode, Dragon Ball Ireland told me they cut some scenes from Friends and I looked that up, and it turns out none of the extended Footage made it onto Netflix. Especially episodes with longer lengths for their first broadcast.

I really hope so, especially with all the characters being kids now. Some of the stuff in early DB is pretty cringe-inducing to sit through with other people, but that one episode in Super was really really bad.

It's going to be two cours, so as many as 26, but I would also assume probably 24-25, unless we have a more clear idea of how many episodes there are going to be at this point.

He had about 2 J-Drama series he was doing this year, and one more on the way that's scheduled to start in... October.
Extremely unlikely that he's on Daima's production team given that, especially with only one month left to go.

I wouldn't expect that. The series is in fantastic shape. Animating the final episodes before it's even hit the air is great. There's nothing to doom and gloom about here - I just wanted to correct the claim that everything is 100% complete.

Thank you for replying. Let's hope these few episodes won't be the only high quality dragon ball anime to come out... And that we won't have to wait long for more animated content. I'll be sad if it's over after half a year. Been looking forward to weekly new dragon ball animation.
