I will do story mode and try to unlock everything.
I'm still confussed with this release date, it says it is relased on the 11th, so 3 days early is the 8th which is tuesday, but people say you can play it monday, very confussing.
The official release date is 11 Oct, 2024, this applies to those that gets the normal edition or didn't pre-order the other editions.
However for those who pre-order the Deluxe or Ultimate edition, we get to play this game 3 days before the official release date.

True it should be playable on Tuesday 8th October. However in Steam it says that we can play in 3 days.
As for the normal edition it says it gets unlocked in 6 days.
I have steam version and it says nothing on when I can play, the only thing it says is october 11 is the release date, where do you see that you can play in 3 days??

Why is dialogue like no cap and gigachad in this game, its cringe and it’s in the subtitles, I hate dubtitles.

Its like 2 days left to preorder release, why can't I preload the game yet on Steam? Anyone have similar issues?

So with all the different versions, how much of the characters are early unlock versus you'll never get them if you don't buy this version?

Are there no cross promotions with xenoverse.?

as of now the only character that you can get only by pre-order is daima kid goku.

the game gonna be 29 GB on steam. that along with the very low system requirments promise that this game gonna have a big community.

Man, idk.. the intro to this game sorta sums up how I feel about it. It’s new, kinda pretty but after a few seconds of excitement I get this feeling of boredom and can’t shake the thought that I’ve done all this a million times before.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

Hold on, last night I was checking out PS Store and all three versions have Daima Goku and the 6 unlockable characters. The standard edition only lacks the season pass, the 3-day prior access, that Shenron thing and Ultimate package upgrade or something like that.

Unless Daima Goku can only be bought BEFORE the release, no matter what edition you buy, but I'm not so sure about it.

yes all of them have daima goku but you need to pre-order (as of now) i bet they will have him as part of the daima dlc as well. but i dont think they are going to give it to you free if you dident pre-ordered the game. they will probably sell it as part of a DLC

Makes sense. That'd be exactly 48 hours before the Early Access begins.

From people who got the game early, seems like they removed the dimension breaking and spinning on the beam clashes. This was tested between Perfect Cell and SSJ2 Goku in training mode so it may still be there for stronger characters like Gogeta and Broly or ir may be something you enable in the options menu.

Will the Ultimate Edition disc version be available after the release date? It is sold out everywhere now.
The series doesn't start with the arrival of Raditz. Stop being lazy and watch Dragonball.

The what ifs and custom battles should be fun for you. If not and the new characters and fresh coat of paint aren't for you, maybe you'll need to look at other games. I think the games done enough to convince most, maybe not all though.

I'm excited but I agree. I feel like I'm going to play few matches and then... I'll get bored, because like you've said "I've done all this a million times before". Other than custom battles there's nothing really "new" in this game (and even those battles aren't really something ground breaking).

Xenoverse 2 what ifs in particular were pretty lackluster. However the free fu dlc with all the branching paths was very strong in my opinion. So many unique situations I couldn't believe it.

We've never had raditz to jiren before so I'm excited for that aspect. And I like that they took the Budokai 3 approach with story mode being character driven.

I do think the game might have over generated hype but if it sells well the devs have done their job I guess.
