Glinds and Gods
The relationship between Glinds and the God hierarchy is probably the most mysterious lore Daima has offered so far. A lot of questions can be posed:
- Planet Kaishin has been mentioned. What is it? What they call the Realm the Glinds hail from? A planet inside the realm, among other planets, although Realm 3 so far hasn't showcased more than seemingly one planet? The planet the Glinds escaped to in the mortal realm?
- If it's a place in the demon realm, are Glinds still born there and escape? Or have new trees been planted? If it's outside of it, where, in which universe?
- Why did Glinds escape the demon realm?
- Why are Glinds the supreme Gods but hold no authority in the demon realm?
- Are Kaio a species of Glind too?

Re: Glinds and Gods
Planet Kaishin is a specific planet within the Second Demon Realm and the original home of the Glinds before their escape. After they escaped, their trees might now exist in the Kaioshin realms hidden in the corners of the twelve universes.
We still don’t know why Glinds and Namekians abandoned the demon realm. Perhaps it’s because of their good nature being incompatible with how the demon realms were ruled. The lack of Kaioshin authority there is probably attributed to its distinct jurisdiction, since the Kaioshins only oversee their respective universe. Though it’s unclear if Zeno and Daishinkan have authority over their affairs, which is very much possible. We will see.
It’s likely that the Kaio or Kaioshin are a “branch” species of different Glind trees. So far, Nahare revealed there are five in total and the ones who were born from the same tree are siblings.

Re: Glinds and Gods
I am debating whether the Kaio are even part of the Glind species. North Kaio for example, looks like a cricket. You can tell that the Kaioshin all hail from the same species being Glind. The Kaio might just straight up have a different origin at this point.
Namekians are slug people, Kaio are cricket people, Glind/Kaioshin are tree people.

Re: Glinds and Gods
It could be possible given the recent retcons, but so far they were also implied to be born as a fruit from the Planet Kaishin’s trees, much like Nahare described how Glinds are born. At least, this is what Toriyama said in 2009.Almighty Majin wrote: Thu Nov 28, 2024 7:48 pm The Kaio might just straight up have a different origin at this point.
Spoiler:
By the way, one more question seems to have been answered in episode #8.
Unironically Arinsu implied Majin Boo’s rampage was the reason Glinds escaped from Daima realm and became gods in other realms. This probably explains why Sir Warp became more strict with traveling between worlds.
That naturally raises more questions, like who were the Kaio and Kaioshins before Glinds’ exodus.
Re: Glinds and Gods
Well, we know that Buu rampaged on Universe 7, what, 5 million years ago? But apparently he first rampaged on the Demon Realm, which made the Glinds leave en masse.
Meanwhile, we also know that by the time Buu rampaged on universe 7 the kaioshin hierarchy was already estabilished. Old Kai was Kaioshin circa 75 million years before the Buu arc, fifteen whole generations of kaioshin before Nahare.
So at the bare minimum, the glind exodus had to have happened at least more than 75 million years in the past. One must wonder what was Bibidi doing in the meantime.

Shin was already in office by the time Buu showed up and started to fuck things up(one would assume Buu didn't force Glinds to flee the Dai Makai just to go after them eons later, letting them settle on U7 and becoming gods). Meaning the Glind Exodus mentioned by Arinsu took place after some Glinds had already taken off.
As of now, I understand there were at least two exodus, the last one, provoked by Buu, and a previous one that could've been just them seeking new pastures at their own pace(or maybe being called in by someone).
Nahare, the other 3 shins that were killed by Buu, the DKS, Gowasu, Ro-Kaioshin and perhaps the Grand Kaiosama too, left before Buu was created, on their own terms. Kaio sama, the other Kaios, Kibito and Zamasu could've left because of Buu.
But nothing is set in stone, most of what we know is from the filler scenes. Maybe we'll get some clarification down the road.
