I guess this is part of being in the "hardcore" side of the franchise

Well, Naho Ooishi did draw a partial adaptation to promote the film before it came out, the same way Toyotaro later did with Resurrection F, if that counts. :P

There is nothing wrong with people criticising the anime, criticising doesn't have anything to do with hardcore.

I didn’t say there is. It’s just that "hardcore" fans tend to be more demanding.
Anyway, I was just joking.

I don't know how long you've been doing the whole "talk about nerd shit on the internet" but this is basically it.

I see no problem, it is good to joke around.

What makes you think Neva will erase their memories? I don’t see a strong reason for it yet. Unless there’s some major consequence to them knowing what happened, I don’t see why Neva would go that route.

He seems to be a plot device, we’re unsure why Neva helped Goku achieve SSJ4, there was no build up to that. He might think the outside world is growing too powerful and erasing their memories will keep them dormant and that the fight against Gormah was the exception.

I honestly don't see that happening. At most Goku won't be able to use Ssj4 for whatever reason, but that's as far as I can see things going. Even that's unlikely.

True. I’m a mod at Evageeks and a regular lurker at Sonic Retro. It’s always the same, only the franchise changes

Gosh, that sounds like A Lot. But yeah, fandom never changes, which is why communities need tight moderation to prevent bad actors.

I’ve pretty much said since the first episode that I’d prefer to treat Daima as its own continuity branch separate from Super, and that sentiment only intensified after we got things like SS3 Vegeta and SS4. Of course, I’m sure that was never Toriyama or anyone else’s intention when they made the show.

The most likely reason the show takes place before BoG is simply so they could avoid having to address the manga exclusive material or EoZ, and I doubt they cared about any inconsistencies. They just wanted to include some fanservice.

The show would've fit perfectly in the timeline had they set it after Battle of Gods.

It seems to me that Gomah's third eye may in fact be more powerful that many claim.

Goku when he met Beerus could have easily lied about SSJ3 being his last transformation Goku always saves energy when fighting and test the opponent first maybe Goku got too confident and thought he didnt need to transform into SSJ4 in the end Beerus defeats Goku maybe Goku thought that SSJ4 would fail with Beerus anyway and preferred to concentrate on becoming SSJ God with Vegeta it is more complicated he should have become SSJ3 when Beerus slaps Bulma since Vegeta is impulsive but well if Daima is Canon with Super they will have to justify why Goku and Vegeta no longer use these transformations perhaps it costs them both a lot of energy if Daima is Canon with Super i wouldnt be surprised to see Goku SSJ4 again or see Daima characters in some Manga of Super or in a Future Movie
