What do you think Goku and friends did in the Afterliffe?

What do you think Goku and friends did in the afterlife during F. Trunks timeline? Do you think they were able to enjoy the afterlife knowing what was happening on earth? Do you think they felt frustrated they could not intervene even if they had become far more powerful to fight the androids? Also how do you think they felt about their existence ending after Zeno wipes out the entire universe?

So Goku wouldn't have got a body.

The others might have been training to surpass the androids but with Piccolo unfused it'd take him and the humans years. Vegeta wouldn't get a body and have gone to hell or accept tutelage or sparring with the others anyway and doesn't know it's possible to go super saiyan.

Baba was either killed before they could finish the required Training or they never finished it.

Gohan would join the others and with Trunks being the hero would possibly give up their bodies and all go to meet goku in the afterlife.

If they were aware of the erasure I like to think kaio would tell them that the gang escaped erasure and they could die knowing zamasu and black failed to dominate the multiverse and trunks escaped.

In cells timeline we know even less. They might have accepted going to heaven without their bodies when trunks died or when bulma died of old age.

Vegeta would have long been reincarnated by that point in both timelines.

Goku wouldn’t have received a body since he died of natural causes, not heroically. I'm not sure Enma takes the previous record into account when giving souls their body, only circumstances of their deaths.

Vegeta went to hell, and likely has been purified and reincarnated.

The others died heroically so they received their bodies. They likely trained with the North Kaio or Grand Kaio, unlikely to have got much stronger from their Namek arc battle powers. Maybe Yamcha and Kuririn chose to give up martial arts and went to Heaven instead.

The story is a bit muddled but I don't recall it ever being said characters only keep their bodies if they die heroically? I could be missing something though.

When Kami willed Goku's body to the afterlife it seemed less about the privilege afforded to him for dying heroically and more about needing a body to train with Kaio against the Saiyans. Later when Piccolo and the others die Kami does the same thing for them even restoring Chaozu's body from being blown to smithereens. They had God's favor for sure but idk if Goku dying of natural causes would keep him from getting a body in heaven.

They no longer exist after that so nothing

So when Goku dies to Cell it's specifically stated he got to keep bis body/keep his body in heaven because he sacrificed himself.

That's also keeping the body in heaven not just on kaios.

After Raditz Kami gave Goku the body but he still had to justify and plead his case to Emna with the context that Goku was gonna be wished back anyway and he wanted him to train to protect earth against the saiyans, helping a kami do their job and prevent more work for Emna too.

They were all having fun in heaven training with Paikuhan and the rest.

It would make sense for them to feel some urgency to act or help out (and really they would have the means to do so) but the story is that Trunks' world is doomed. It is also easy to imagine Goku would have received a body as well given his lifetime of saving the world and God/Kaio potentially requesting it from Enma. But maybe the gods put their foot down for some reason and prevented them from doing so.

By the end of the Future Trunks arc, they may have been killed or become one with Zamasu as he became the universe prior to Zeno erasing everything. Such is the fate of Goku from chapter 1...

Tenshinhan, Yamcha, Krilin, I don't think they've earned it. No matter what Z filler showed. But let's say they did, what can they do? I think Yamcha and Krilin would rather go to heaven than train forever. In the Namek arc and the Z filler, they knew they were coming back to life, but after the final death, I doubt they would choose training over enjoying heaven. I can see Ten staying with Goku.

But wasn't that Kaio's doing and not so much what they had coming?

yes exactly much like how Kami took Gokus body, then made a body for him in heaven, they even refer to Kami having restored even Chaozu's body. This wasn't a reward for Yemna who none of the cast have spoken to for more than 2 minutes yet.

When Goku dies to Cell he specifically says it was because of his sacrifice, as in the manga panels I linked, that's different, that's not Kami appealing to Enma, that's Emna deciding Goku is Heroic enough.

You can make the case that none of the cast have bodies in the future, or that everyone EXCEPT Goku do, but not the other way around that makes no sense.

There was no Cell sacrifice or Kami pleading his case to need a body for a circumstancial thing.

The main cast might not remember the old Crone, but she would probably reach out to them about the possibility.
Either Emna denied her intervention to change the fate of the planet, she died, or she died before they finished their training at Kaios.

Nothing says the remaining Dragon Team can't train at Kaios then later change their mind and go to heaven as a bodiless soul if Baba dies or Trunks handles business.
