It's her. I don't know who else "Lanch" could possibly be referring to, unless it's her identical twin, or she somehow integrated her split personalities. She's got similar hair and even wears the bow in it.

I don't think that's going to happen. In the manga, and thus Online, Toriyama has explained that Pan can't go Super Saiyan because the bloodline is too diluted (1/4 Saiyan). True, he came up with the reasoning because he couldn't figure out a way to make a female Super Saiyan look, but it should still apply.

In 250 years, barring an incredible amount of inbreeding between the Son and Briefs families, any remaining Saiyan blood would be diluted to approximately 1/32 or 1/64 parts... If 1/4th can't go Super Saiyan, I doubt 1/64th can.

Again, not saying humans won't get sufficient powerups, or that Super Saiyan is completely out of the question (heck, they could even have players fusing with Goku or Vegeta in Time Machine Quests, for all we know), it's just unlikely.

Besides, it's not like players can't just pick blond, spikey hair and RP as Saiyans...

Though I do think they need more than just 3 playable races. Having the Majin race is just freaking awesome. If I ever play this I am *so* being a Majin.

Android / Artificial Human seems like a good possibility, especially considering that it's set in the future, with even more futuristic technology available. So long as they look uniquely 'robotic', more like 19 and 20, I think it'd be doable.

Alien could also work... as in a variety of different Alien races, like those who worked for Freeza. They could release a few different base body types, and then include a wide variety of skin colors, heads, and markings.

Beyond that, I'm not sure. I wouldn't expect there to be races based on original anime characters, and I doubt that there will be any anthropomorphic animals as playable characters... Which cuts it down quite a bit.

Freeza's race? Maybe weaker members with restricted transformation abilities, or maybe a variety of transformations to act as the different class types...

Neko Majin would be great to see in any form, even if only as a limited edition joke version of Daimajin.

No, that was Toei's reason, which they then voided with Goku Jr (who was 1/32nd Saiya-jin) going SSJ in the special and at the end of GT. Toriayma's was simply that he didn't know what a female SSJ should look like so he wasn't able to design one. He gave no reasons beyond that. Note that Bra, who was 1/2 Saiya-jin, never displayed the transformation either. As far as the manga is concerned, and even the anime due to the end of GT, blood dillution does nothing to hinder SSJ obtainment.

I was wary of this at first (because the nameccian customization seemed to consist of two guys with yellow faces), but the more I see about the possibilities for them the more excited I get. But the sight of an actual map of Nameksei is what pretty much sold me on the idea. All it comes down to now is cost, because I've always hated the idea of paying for a game every month after you've already paid for it. If the info on the green boys keeps looking better, it's likely to just win out.

As for the majin race? I haven't actually seen the buu saga (long story involving FUNi DVD release timing) so I can't say definitively that it does or doesn't make sense in cannon. All I know about them is that the designs (particularly the female one) look fantastic and it'll give people more opportunities to spread out.

I'm extremely proud of them for A- gutting the beast that is GT from existence and B- keeping the sayiajin out because there were only five or so of them around, and no purebred females, and a race would be impossible at this point. For people who want to rp as a sayiajin they can just style a human that way and pretend they lost their tail, as the tail was the only defining difference between the two races anyway.

I'm ridiculously excited to see how customization spreads out as this goes along, particularly with Nameccians. If you haven't been able to tell by now, I'm something of a sap for them > >

I think this thread is a good exception (Though I suppose that is for Mr. Ex to decide), I mean, was he supposed to start a new thread just to ask if there is any new information? People probably would have got on him about that. It's been a while since I've seen anything new on this game, hopefully we'll see something soon.

I agree that necroposting on a thread like this could can be acceptable, but only for certain reasons. Necroposting when you have nothing of value to say (like a posting question that would have been answered anyway as soon as an answer came up) is not acceptable...I think. Necroposting to inform us of an update about the thread's topic when making a whole new thread seems unreasonable is OK, as it has been many times before.

I think the concern/sentiment was that there wasn't actually any news... it was just a collection of words about a specific character that happened to throw the phrase "DragonBall Online" in there at some point with only the weakest tangential connection possible, probably just in an attempt to drive some traffic.
