No, it's the same old same old running defense for their shitty OC Mary sue, no criticism allowed of course.
I don't think that this a a particularly good comic, but you say 'shitty OC Mary Sue' like you're surprised a comic that people have spent a decade of their life working on has their own ideas mixed in.

This series clearly exists for Salagir's own entertainment—a sentiment common among creative people. If you’re not into it, just stop following it. I barely follow it at all and I get far less aggressive stress from it.
It's hard for someone to spend a lot of time on something and then not get closure on it.

I can't tell you the times I started something that was great and then got bad out I still wanted to finish it to know the end.

That being said Salagir as a writer is going to do what he wants to do as said writer. People are going to get upset and defend the characters they like but as you mentioned its not like he's the new official writer of Dragonball.
I mean, it's but a comic. It's causing this person some degree of harm to continue engaging with it. I don't think I'm proposing anything radical by suggesting that perhaps it's time to disengage if it's getting under one's skin like so. Albeit, I have a large degree of experience with neeing to totally upend one's life, but I still think it's important that we try to have some degree of self-awareness and self-vigilance about these things.

Like, my own opinion on Dragon Ball Multiverse is obviously colored by my own experiences as a writer, too. I think this comic lacks finesse and I've mostly disengaged from it, but I also completely understand being a writer and having a degree of confidence in where you're going with your story. Frankly, I wish I had Salagir's consistent ability to put out work. I think that I'll eventually do a reread of it to take a fresher look at it, but, like, I get it.

Appreciate the concerns but it's really not a negative thing in my life at all lol, the thing is as the other person said, I've been following this shit for a long time and seeing it just spiral into shitness sucks a lot, after the Bra arc I completely dropped it and then I read back, honestly the way it's written you can catch-up years of lateness in less than a week and sometimes I just feel irked by it and have to vent somewhere.

What triggered me this last time was the last fight of the tournament and again Magic being the answer to everything while nothing being explained, on top of a villain that had less development than Jiren which is might impressive. I will again probably turn off of this and forget about it just for a few years down the line remind it exists, thinking that maybe it's at least not awful and being disappointed it just got worse somehow.

Although the comments about them thinking that DBS copied multiverse edges on the absurd.

I also will be honest because I felt a little cheated out by the premise, for me DB is about Goku and about getting stronger, mentally and physically reaching new heights, a multiverse tournament is basically what if heaven and I'm a big fan of what ifs, and it for sure started that way, it was not pretentious (maybe that's the word) and it just turned pretentious and evolved to something else entirely, that's okay I guess, but it's like going to a movie, thinking it will be a comedy, the trailers show a comedy and it's a horror possession movie which is not even trying to be funny, and I hate them possession movies, for me the mini comic became something that's not even close to what Dragon ball is, then what's the point of even using those characters?

Might as well use an original IP, and I will be honest reading fanfic was never my fancy, I just was starved of Dragon Ball at the time and needed more, but yeah, it's strange, like watching a train wreck but I just forget about it for 5 months at a time.

I'll say it one more time. DBM started strong because we got almost all the what if fights we wanted in the orginal series. Once they ran through that it started to dwindle.

I still also don't know why Asura is the only artist. I don't care if they make specials but if Salagir knows where the stroy os going he should look for other artist to help speed it up.

Not everyone chapter has to look to same like every Dragonball episode wasn't identical.

If I remember right, this Cell doesn’t have Freeza and King Cold’s cells because they never came to Earth in this universe.

To be fair you did read the transcript of a twitch video that was only posted on discord before many of the fans who contribute to the comic have seen it. I don't know how long that would've taken to read through all those comments to find the transcript first then spend the time reading it. I get some people only finish a story due sunk cost but there's still the opportunity cost if you end up spending more time on it than the average fan since all that extra time spent could've went to something you actually like. I'm someone who reads other fan comics and I would still argue not a single one of them is worth more than five minutes of your time if you don't have fun reading the story itself.

If this version of Cell has no DNA of Freeza and Cold, he is probably not very strong.

I guess this iteration of Cell is the "lizard monster" that Gast was said to have fought. He's honestly more of a bugman still move than anything, but I can see why he would be lizard-like with his tail regrowing as well as having a green color scheme along with spots on him.

I do like the idea of a world where Gero is alive and has taken over the world. Even having Colonel Silver be rebuilt as a cyborg is a cool idea. It still does not explain how Dr.Gero and #19 attack first, and not #17 and #18.

I remember Gast had issues fighting King Cold in his final form, who is around #16 level. So how strong is this version of Cell?

I imagine finding an artist of Asura's caliber that has the time to dedicate to a fan comic is probably incredibly difficult, though. Probably easier on him to just stick to 1 guy for the main thing and then do anything for the other stuff.
