Can we get SS1 Caulifla while we’re at it. It’s still really weird that she doesn’t have it.

It seems like they're constantly trying to "finish" this game and make it more like the Tenkaichi 4 it should've been and they're dropping the ball with that. Kageyama and Mission 100 should've been a part of the game on DAY ONE. But whatever, better late than never.
I don't think he's done a theme song for any DB game in a while. They also had access to the second Super theme song, so I guess they were like, "Well, we have the license, so let's use it." Especially since this was the first game to adapt shit more in full since Kakarot only did the BOG & RF arcs & Xenoverse 2 adapted them...kinda half-assed, ngl.

I totally missed grandpa Gohan. Basically all the characters from BT3 who didn't make it in our coming back. That is it in a nutshell and they focused more on Goku and Vegeta's team attack than the actual DLC cast.

Sparking Zero's new characters:

Ssj Bardock
King Piccolo
Super #17
Gradpa Gohan
Champa
Tao
Pikkon
Zangya

Someone said the frame of someone's feet was for Devilman, so we'll see.

I’m pretty sure the last game Kageyama did a song for was Raging Blast 2, which was all the way back in 2010.

New DLC Teaser Trailer
https://youtu.be/SZhl5-ag0tA?si=XeiEp-SwW2FKs3Hi

So, thoughts.

1. No idea why they pitched up Chuck Huber's voice for Super 17 slightly. I assume this was an error from editing the trailer.

2. Seems like they may be adding more story mode sections, which is great. It always confused me why Super Broly's in the game & why Super Vegeta's spandex is navy blue rather than the more royal blue like in the movie, but we don't even get to play that story. If they can add the sections of the other story modes they didn't do for no reason too, that'd be great.

3. Super Saiyan Bardock is something I didn't expect, but am glad to see. Wish they'd also add Chilled for him to fight, but him throwing Freeza around is great shit.

4. Piccolo Daimao is great for OG DB rep. We just also need kid Krillin & the Pilaf gang.

5. Bojack Gohan! Yes! I always loved pre-teen Gohan wearing a version of Goku's gi. It looks SO sick on him & I'm glad it's back. So weird that they omitted it.

6. Kame House as a stage is really cool! They modeled it for early game cutscenes in Goku's story mode, but it wasn't a stage for some reason.

Really looking forward to this. Hope there's more to come because I think Eis & Nova Shenron should be in there too.

With the possible exception of the great apes, it seems like they might be making an effort to include all the missing characters from BT3, which would be more than I would’ve expected.

In Dragon Ball FighterZ, Bardock only transforms for a brief sequence (and it's DLC), in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot he's nowhere to be seen and in this game Super Saiyan Bardock is DLC... I'm not fond of this trend at all. He has to be in the games with his transformation since base game launch.

Still, glad he's made it, though.

Yeah, it made sense to include the oozaru back when they were scraping for new characters to add (it was a different world lol), but they’re totally unnecessary now.

I… have to imagine there will be new accessories as well? It’s still hilarious to me that the menu shows nine accessory slots when no character in the game has more than one. So just UI designed with eight empty slots that are never used for anything.

How should we see this? A dlc that includes characters from different series like one from GT, a bunch from DB, one from a spinoff, like a popurri of characters... Or a series of dlc, and each will have characters from certain series?

Like, could we get GT Trunks with S-17, and maybe more missing dudes?

I guess there will be more than just one added stage, as well.

What they announced will be part of one DLC pack.

Damn! So they’ve actually “listened”.
Looking forward to Mission 100 tomorrow.
Hope it will be fun and replayable.

Haven’t seen my man EOZ Goku, but glad for Gohan from Movie 9, with switching his ultimate for movie one.
They teased movie match-ups a lot and I hope we also gwt Movie 10 Broly skin!

Still think it wont’t be enough or there will be some fundamentals missing. Unless having BS online ranking in Mission 100, there needs to be ton of accessories for the shop and ingame rewards to be relevant.

IMO, the only other things I want in the game are stuff like more customizable options on all the characters (Even if they never appeared in the shows, movies, or manga) like the ability to put halos & scouters on every character that can have them & the ability to do our own customizable movesets like in the Budokai games & Xenoverse. It still bugs me than in 2026, you can't do that in this game. Also more customizable things. They're purely cosmetic anyways, so go nuts with them.

We'll be able to do that in Team BT4's Tenkaichi 4 mod this upcoming March. Customizable movesets seems like something we'll get in a sequel, rather than an update to the current game.

Just one DLC? Maybe they'll announce more later.

I'm happy to see this new stuff. Sssj Bardock would be great aswell.

Yeah and in summer
But there is no definitive info on what exactly will be part of it yet, beside general content description and all we can spot in the teaser trailer.

Honestly, calling one version or the other "Fake" or "Real" or "Actually Good" is pretty disrespectful.
The people behind both of these forms gave their own spin and effort on them, no version is more valid than the other as works of art.

If I had any say on it, I do prefer GT's version.
Simply because the form was meant to represent something, whereas Daima's has no relation to anything at all.
It's not related to the story, it's not related to any character arc, it looks like a monkey just because it looked like that before, devoid of anything it was meant to represent before. It's just sheer nostalgia baiting for the sake of it without any actual meaning behind it, because the producers know it's popular and it will sell. But that's just my own perspective.

And it's exactly what it's doing right now. Whether you like it or not, Daima is the new hot thing, it's got the Toriyama seal of approval for the "true fans" of the franchise, and the higher-ups are going to use it until they milk every last penny out of it. It makes perfect and total sense why they're prioritizing it over GT, an old series that usually ranks quite low in fandom popularity polls.

At the end of the day, capitalism gonna capitalism.

Umm... okay. I think you're in the wrong thread, big kat. Here's one that's better suited to what I believe you're trying to contribute.

Remember that this is one big DLC update, though. And they've only teased some of what it includes.
