A new leak is claiming that Toriyama actually developed 4 new characters for the game, and that only 1 was revealed so far.

Why are people claiming that is 100% xenoverse when we don't know the circumstances of who leaked it as xenoverse 3 and considering that it could be a joke (which definitely had consequences for the one who did it) and not some kind of "strange marketing movement", bandai isn't a one random person who decided to leak the real identity of the next dragon ball game

They changed the Age 1000 Youtube playlist name to Xenoverse 3. It's not some vague "leak" it's an admission from Bandai themselves

The official DragonBallGames twitter also has been doing a recap of Xenoverse 2 for the past few months, including the DLC. I guess leading up to the latest DLC which makes it seem it might be the last DLC for Xenoverse 2. (leading into Xenoverse 3)

It’s annoying having to wait another month before they (most likely) confirm that this is Xenoverse 3.

I remember when Rhymestyle said XV3 was already being work on pre-covid, and he has good connections with Namco Bandai. Meaning that they were working on XV3 probably around 2018.

Not to cast aspersions, I don't know the guy. but it's also not unheard of for social media influencers to just say things that they think might be true so they can claim credit later, even though they didn't actually know. I wouldn't put too much stock in that kind of thing.

Back in 2018 sequels were more common and the gap between Xenoverse 1 and 2 was like 2 or 3 years so everyone assumed there would be a new one sooner rather than later.
