Absolute no no no. AI destroys human belief that leads to self-improvement and the time it takes for creation, which is something Dragon Ball strongly defends since 1984 and is also mandatory if we want to continue seeing art made by humans. We are all gods of creations and need to go through the process of becoming stronger.
AI not only ruins this belief but also takes away the jobs of those who don't want to engage with it but create with their own hands, or in this case, with their own voices. Besides ruining other things as well, like nature. I love the work of Masako Nozawa and other voice actors (I only like the original / japanese voice acting, but the international ones are important too), but I would easily choose a recast being done in the future instead of trying to artificially maintain the classic voices.
This wouldn't allow new talents and voices to shine. If the old voices don't rest, there will be no new voices tomorrow. In the same way, AI that generates "art" doesn't create new visual artists.
Of course, new people who "work under AI" will emerge, but for me that has no value, it adds nothing to my life, only to people who embrace it and especially the people at the top of corporations who don't see value in art.
The modern world is heading towards a scenario where human belief dies, giving way to the idolatry of an artificial god who brings everything quickly, easily, and effortlessly, but who doesn't even create, it only unfairly copies the work of those who needed years or decades of effort for their creations.
This cannot be compared by any means to past technological advancements, as they all still demanded considerable effort and complexity from humans. Prior to AI, time and development for creation were still the rule. AI doesn't just make everything cheap from a commercial point of view, but creatively as well. It doesn't inspire people like humans do, it only helps to further fuel this false god and the new belief that human creation is no longer needed. World will become boring and worse than it already is.
If Dragon Ball, for example, were to stop again as it did after GT, I would be satisfied and enjoy everything we had. I would prefer that instead of getting a new sequel made by AI. It betrays the creative mind that created the universe on pages, it betrays the creative minds that brought it to life in animation. These are not people who did it just for money, but people who were also proud of their work and creations. AI creates people without pride and faith in themselves, it will create a Hell right here in our mortal reality. It's non-human.
