Either a skill tree or upgrading Stamina will allow you to have a longer timer

Those are on a timer and the super attacks have a cool down period; I'm not really sure how I feel about either to be honest. On one hand, it indeed limits the AI and other players from spamming everything into oblivion like what was happening in XV2, but on the other, is the actual combat good enough to carry the majority of fights ?

I couldn't tell you if I care about transformations being on a timer or not. Customizing the created character and living in the dragon ball world was always more what I enjoyed rather than online PVP. So something like being able to re color every piece of clothing is more important to me than if SSJ is on a timer.

They really haven't announced anything yet, at least nothing worth getting excited about. I get that it's only been 3 months since it was revealed, but I wish their marketing department would get their act together and show us something worth talking about.

The generic NPCs seem to be a pretty good indication of what we can do with the character creator this time. I haven't seen any Beastmen NPCs, but Glinds? Maybe. Hard to say right now. There's one NPC character I know of who appears to be a Glind, but she might be a unique NPC, not made with the character creator. Or they might have made a human, given her long ears, and called her a Glind. Androids would pretty much look the same as humans, so they're technically possible, but I think they're unlikely to be made a priority.

Do you guys think they'll add onto the lore the way DBO did? Like would XV3 explain why Frieza's race is on earth like DBO did with the Namekians and Yardrats? Would they explain what some of the characters that weren't in DBO's lore (like Yamcha) went on to do, or what happened to a few of the characters we're introduced to in DBS (like Cabba or Jiren)?

Now that I think about it, they could even make their own transformations for the other races that don't have many instead of relying on the anime to do it. That's what Heroes did too, right?

I'd be disappointed but at the same time I wouldn't be surprised.

But the game's vibe gives follows the DB story subtlety:

Your Character (Goku) gets ran over by Bulma

Your Character (Goku) fights someone who resembles Yamcha - Brett

Your Character (Yamcha) chops off a rampaging Tap's (Goku's) tail

Maybe they'll incorporate the OG DB characters for the Soul mechanic? I think it'd be perfect

So, I saw the gameplay explanation video the other day. I'm not too excited about them incorporating gameplay elements of Breakers where you turn into other DB heroes, tbh. I own that game because I bought it on a HEAVY discount, but have no interest in playing it after watching some videos on it because it looks boring as fuck & poorly balanced in regards to difficulty, not helped by shit AI. Maybe they'll make the gameplay elements better in this game, but we'll see. Part of the appeal of Xenoverse is that you create an OC & do things like the characters int he shows & movies, not transform into them. Hoping this'll be completely optional.
