Frieza's Regeneration Power

In the Funi dub right after Frieza rips off Nail's arm and Nail regenerates it, Frieza says: "I'll have to make a copy of that power, it might come in handy someday" so why didn't he use it when he got sliced in half by his purple disk? He even went as far as to roboticize himself when he could have just grown back the rest of his body. (Was this filler? Was it in the japanese version?)

It wasn't in the manga, so I doubt it was in the JPN version.

Note that Freeza can regenerate when he changes forms, though.

Yeah, that was just a line in the english version. The only thing Freeza says about Nail when he regenerates, is that his power has dropped from it.

How the hell would Freeza make a copy of a regeneration anyway?

Can't we all(Or just some of us) just cut the dub some slack? Was that line in the Box sets too?

Actually, he only regenerates from going from form 3 to 4. Note that his tail is still severed between form 2 and 3.

Had Freeza ever previously displayed the ability to use other beings' techniques, because that seems like a ridiculously absurd line for Funi to throw in (though not really when compared to the things that supposedly happened on Rygal 7).

Oh, you're probably right, I was just praising the box sets for not having that inaccurate line...assuming that they really don't have it.

No, that just seemed to be a technique that he already knew. There was nothing to imply that he copied it from Kuririn.

Don't get me wrong, it's not like I HATE the dub, but the mistakes really bother me. It's a turn off. Japanese version = best.

Why is it every time someone has less than stellar opinion of the FUNimation dub, you think they're being unfair?, the majority of the criticism it gets here isn't without merit, you'll rarely see someone here that dislikes the dub without a plethora of reasons.

So unless someone's posting about how the FUNimation dub is the worst dub in the entire world, just let them have their own opinions, they really don't affect you.

I personally think it fits kinda inbetween "almost watchable" and "Unbearable"

Actually what I told you to do, was to let people have their opinions, instead of complaining every time someone has something negative to say about the FUNimation dub.

We're allowed to have discussions and arguments here, as long as we treat one-another in a somewhat civil manner, so please stop telling people to settle down every time they state their opinion (or in this case a fact) just because you don't agree.

I said "Calm down", because you used profanity. I just don't want this to blow out of proportion, like ALL those other times, when I made useless arguments for no reason.

Yeah, he would never believe anybody could actually hurt him. Why would he need a power like that if 'nobody' in the universe could touch him?
